    Good evening Robert,

I am sorry there are still issues at play with the basic plugin.

Thank you for the login invitation. Alas, for several reasons, including liability, our policy does not allow me to log in your site.

Here is what you will need to do:

    1. Deactivate all the Events Calendar plugins
    2. Using your FTP client or the File manager in your CPanel interface, navigate to /wp-content/plugins/ on your site.
    3. Look for the-events-calendar folder and delete it.
    4. Once the files are deleted, you should be able to reinstall the Events Calendar Basic and activate it.
    5. After that, you will be able to reactivate all of our other plugins.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening Dominic,

    Thank you for writing back.
You are absolutely right. This is totally my bad.

I will contact the extension developer to see what can be done.

In the meantime, you could probably adapt the following snippet idea to add a column in the export: https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/25e98c2dddac3d67a02d2e8e4c8da813

    Hang in there!

    Good evening Mike,

I totally understand where you are coming from.

As for your second issue, would it be possible to get an example of what you are referring to ? Perhaps a screenshot.
Are you talking about what displays when you post the link on something like Facebook ?

Without knowing for sure, I believe the answer will be to tweak your usage of Yoast SEO with the Events Calendar.

    This happens at 2 levels:

    1. In your configuration of Yoast
    2. In each event’s Yoast section

    Good afternoon Danna,

I am sorry that the issue did not go away.

In that case, I believe one of 2 things might be at play:

    1. Something is preventing the image from being attached (perhaps a security feature).
    2. There is some type of conflict at play.

Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.

Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.

    Hang in there!

    Good afternoon Sarah,

    I am glad that helped.

Yes, I confirm that you will get the option to display all of those that have RSVP’d on any event you choose.

Good afternoon Cath and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

When a ticket is purchased it gets stuck at order ‘processing’ and has to be manually completed. Since the inventory doesn’t update until an order is complete it makes the plugin pretty unusable unless tickets come off the inventory when a payment is made.

You are correct. By default, a ticket order is set to processing.

However, this behaviour can typically be changed with a snippet or a third-party plugin.
The most efficient one being https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/automatically-complete-orders/

If, for some reason, that does not work for you, there is a chance that something is blocking the status change. Most of the time that would be another plugin or a snippet.

As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    Good afternoon Feroz,

I am glad we found the culprit!

I believe you can simply edit your tickets directly in WooCommerce and make sure you uncheck the “Bulk Discount enabled” option on them.

    That should solve it.

Let me know how that goes.

    Hi Alex,

    Thank you for your answer.
To your point, I always greet our customers, it’s just the nice polite thing to do 🙂

As for the minimum support requirements, I see your point.
In fact, I just updated the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-the-events-calendar-with-wpml/

That being said, as you might know, in the WordPress world, in most cases plugins will only work with one another if released around the same time. This is also true of compatibility with different WordPress versions.

You are welcome back in our support forums any time 🙂

Good afternoon Phil and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the ticket not displaying on your event page.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Typically, this happens when there is a ticket start sale date that is defined and that this date has not been met yet.

If you remove the ticket start sale date from the ticket, it should display.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

Good evening Rob and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Can you please confirm that if transitioning from Events Calendar to Event Calendar Pro you current posted events remain intact and do not have to recreate?

Before any major change to a website, it is always good practice to make a backup of your database. Just for extra safety.

That being said, extending the Events Calendar by adding the Events Calendar Pro does not delete or impact any existing event.

All pre-existing events will remain intact.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.
