I just tried to do an import of events and almost the entire month of april is empty for some reason. I need this fixed ASAP!
Also, for some reason my navigation buttons below my calendar in month view aren’t working right either. I got this error when I inspected the page:

Oh and one more thing…I’ve been trying to figure out how to get the default calendar mode to be month on desktop and list on mobile. My month view on mobile is all messed up. And the filter bar and nav buttons look like junk, too. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
April 10, 2017 at 8:43 pm #1268059Geoff B.MemberGood evening Stephen and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the multiple issues you are facing. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic.I just tried to do an import of events and almost the entire month of april is empty for some reason. I need this fixed ASAP!
In order to troubleshoot, could you tell me if there were any events in the month of April prior to your import ?
If so ? Are the events that were already there gone ?
Would it be possible to get a copy of your import source (URL) ? In a private reply so that I can run some tests ?
Finally, it looks like a lot of events have made it through at the time of writing. Can you tell me if anything has changed ?
Also, for some reason my navigation buttons below my calendar in month view aren’t working right either.
I just ran a test on your website and this seems to be gone too. Can you confirm ?
Oh and one more thing…I’ve been trying to figure out how to get the default calendar mode to be month on desktop and list on mobile. My month view on mobile is all messed up.
Normally, this feature is part of the Events Calendar. But it is possible that this has been disabled in the Avada theme.
Could you try temporarily reverting back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen and see if that gets that feature ?
And the filter bar and nav buttons look like junk, too. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Perhaps this has to do with some of the customizations in the Avada child theme you are using ?
Can you tell me if reverting to a Vanilla Avada helps ?
You could also try different settings for the 2 first options under Events -> Settings -> Display (again with and without Avada).
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

settings and that fixed the main problem. But that erased the setting I had
that allowed Images and Titles in the tooltip to be clickable and take you
directly to the facebook event.The main thing now is getting the navigation buttons to work. OH and the
“EVENTS” link in my menu doesn’t work anymore. Any idea how to fix that?Oh, and now my images for events aren’t automatically importing to the home
page “Updated Events” section. Any ideas there?April 12, 2017 at 4:03 pm #1269201Geoff B.MemberThis reply is private.

April 27, 2017 at 11:32 am #1275379StephenParticipantHi Geoff,
Here is a screenshot of what I am talking about.
Any ideas on how to fix the background color behind this heading and
description text?Thanks,
StephenP.s. – the events on the homepage aren’t linking directly to facebook. Any
ideas there?April 27, 2017 at 9:09 pm #1275588Geoff B.MemberGood evening Stephen,
Thank you for your answer.
Here is a screenshot of what I am talking about. Any ideas on how to fix the background color behind this heading and description text?
Unfortunately, it looks like the screenshot did not make it for some reason.
Would you mind trying again (perhaps with a weblink like Dropbox, Google Drive, etc…) ?the events on the homepage aren’t linking directly to facebook. Any ideas there?
Actually, on my end they all seem to link directly to Facebook.
Perhaps, something has changed ?Can you confirm ?
Best regards,
Geoff B.
May 11, 2017 at 8:44 am #1282315StephenParticipantSorry it has taken so long to get back to you!
Hopefully the screenshot made it this time. Do you see what I mean?
And still, when I click on an Upcoming Event from the Home page, not the Event page, it takes me to a page within WordPress, not to facebook. I want it to take the user directly to facebook. It worked before I updated everything, so I feel like it could work again.
Let me know what you think! Your help is greatly appreciated!!
Thanks,
Stephen GoodrickMay 11, 2017 at 6:42 pm #1282681Geoff B.MemberGood evening Stephen,
Thank you for writing back.
Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:
@media screen and (min-width: 800px) { #tribe-mobile-container .type-tribe_events {
padding: 20px 10px 16px !important;
background: rgba(252,252,252,0.83);
}
}And still, when I click on an Upcoming Event from the Home page, not the Event page, it takes me to a page within WordPress, not to facebook. I want it to take the user directly to facebook. It worked before I updated everything, so I feel like it could work again.
Actually, it does not fully work on the Events page either.
If you switch to list or day view, you will notice that the image still links to the event page (and not FB).Would you mind letting me know which method you have used to redirect event to FB ?
Perhaps you could send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.Hang in there!

May 11, 2017 at 7:01 pm #1282699StephenParticipantYou’re right, it’s not working. I was clicking on the image which was working in the calendar view.
The CSS you sent me didn’t work, unfortunately :/
I found the thread that helped me earlier. Here’s the link: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/how-to-make-featured-image-in-tooltip-clickable/
Should I just try that again?
May 12, 2017 at 5:36 pm #1283349Geoff B.MemberGood evening Stephen,
Sorry that the CSS did not cut it.
Here is a revised version:
@media screen and (max-width: 568px) { #tribe-mobile-container .type-tribe_events {
padding: 20px 10px 16px !important;
background: rgba(252,252,252,0.83) !important;
}
}Thank you for sharing the link.
The idea is indeed to make sure the customization touches every possible link.
Another snippet you will be interested in is: https://gist.github.com/elimn/d2bfcd659e99771e3abbLet me know how that goes.
