    Good evening Roger,

    Thank you for writing back.

When the page loads only 6 events show up, if you click the next events link under the events it says there are no more events. If you then click the previous events link it shows all 9 events?

I am pretty sure this is theme specific.

Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.

Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.

In the meantime, you might want to look for a setting in your theme options that tackles how many posts are displayed when an “archive” is called.

    Hang in there!

Good evening Dettmar and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the 404 messages you are getting.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Based on what I am seeing so far, there are 2 things that caught my attention:

    1. You are using a rather old version of PHP. I strongly recommend upgrading at least to 5.4.x+ . In fact WordPress recommends 7+
    2. It looks like you already have another calendar plugin in place and I am pretty sure there is a URL conflict going on.

For example, one of your events is http://www.jugendkulturarbeit.eu/event/499703057087328

By default, our calendar uses the /events/ slug for the main calendar and the /event/ slug for single events.

For this to work, it is very important that there is absolute exclusivity on these slugs (which is not the case on your install), there should be no page or plugin using these slugs.

You could most likely work around that by changing our default slugs under Events -> Settings -> General to something like “calendar-page” and “single-event”. After you do so, please re-save the permalinks.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

Good evening Valentin and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

There is currently no existing snippet that uses attendee information to send emails.
But, to your point, I am pretty sure you could create one.

Here are a couple of related snippets to draw inspiration from:

Good evening Jody and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the photo view not working properly for you.
I would love to help you with this topic.

This issue seems to be closely related to compatibility with the X theme.
It probably started happening following our long overdue update of Isotope.

In any case, we do have a bug ticket logged internally to address this.

Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned, you will be contacted when the fix is released.

In the meantime, aside from using the CSS, another option would be to downgrade our plugins to before 4.4.3.

I recommend reading the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/

I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have unfortunately.

    Best regards,

Good evening Tom and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

I know there was an update back in February changing the way the auto complete worked. I can’t work out if there is any way of setting orders to autocomplete when the customer has paid via PayPal or if this is not possible anymore.

Actually, you now have options (provided you are using the latest version of our plugins).

You can decide exactly when the tickets are being sent (it no longer needs to be when the order status is set to “complete”). This is all controlled by the very last setting under Events -> Settings -> Tickets

Other than that, if you still want the orders to be set to complete, you can:

    1. https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-order-status-control/
    2. https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/automatically-complete-orders/
    3. https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-autocomplete-order/

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Danna,

    Thank you for writing back.

You might be right. Security plugins when overly strict can impede many plugins proper functioning.

A quick test would be to temporarily deactivate all protection and undo changes made to .htaccess file by WordFence or to simply deactivate the settings one-by-one until you find a culprit.

To answer your question, I have not seen this specific issue before.

We do have many customers using both WordFence and Community events without any issue.
I believe it is not so much WordFence as much as the settings of the plugin that might be causing the issue in your case.

    Most likely the firewall part.

Let me know how that goes.

    Good afternoon Marylin,

    Thank you for writing back.

I am sorry to hear that you were left to learn how to do this on your own. Yikes!

The good news is that even though it might be slightly scary at first, installing plugins and making the license you own is pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it.

The other good news is that we will gladly guide you through that process should you need assistance.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good afternoon @machedon,

    Thank you for chiming in.

I would highly recommend opening up a separate ticket for you issue to ensure we keep focus on David’s issues and that you receive the appropriate level of care and attention on your specific issue.

In the meantime, please know that we officially do not support Event Tickets Plus with multi-language sites: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wpml-support/

This feature is scheduled to be release later this year. Initially we planned for spring, but there was some pushback.

In the meantime, you could get it to partially work, but this is unsupported.

To achieve that, you will need:

    1. WooCommerce multilingual
    2. Some manual intervention

After creating the ticket AND saving the event, head over to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting page.

Once you are there, you should see several cleanup buttons. I would recommend:

    1. Clearing WPML cache
    2. Using the button that forces language assignment to items (which is what is creating the issue). This can also be accomplished by deactivating and reactivating WPML.

Your ticket will now magically appear.

The only downside is that the tickets you create in other languages are not really translations of the initial ticket. They are completely independent new tickets.

    Have a great day!

    Hi again,

While doing a bit of additional research, I stumbled upon something that might be impacting you.

For a very brief amount of time, some of our plugins where packaged with the wrong license information. This was fixed really quickly, but there is a chance you might have downloaded your copy during that time.

The solution for this would be to:

    1. Deactivate and delete Pro
    2. Download Pro again from your Downloads section
    3. Reinstall it and try the license key

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

Good afternoon Greg and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

when I use the option “Include events in main blog loop” with the pro version will events show the featured image as the standard post show. I tested it with the free version and events show up in the loop, but without the featured image.

Normally, the featured image should display wether you use the Events Calendar free or the Events Calendar Pro.

If it does not with your specific theme, you might have to look into the code of the theme responsible for handling featured images.

Try temporarily reverting back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen and you should see the featured image appear when this option is selected.

    Best regards,

Do I need to downgrade Events Calendar 4.5.1 to a previous version to be compatible with Events Calendar Pro 3.12.6

The short answer is yes. You have to use “matching versions” (at least as far as publication date is concerned) for things to run smoothly.

I recommend reading the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/

You could snag a copy of the Events Calendar 3.12.6 here https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/advanced/

With that in mind, 3.12.6 is almost 2 years old. As you can imagine, we simply cannot guarantee it will work properly with the latest version of WordPress, but it is possible it will still do.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good afternoon Clare,

I totally understand and we will gladly keep this ticket open.
To your point, it is typically recommended to perform any test and changes on a testing / staging website (as opposed to doing them on a live site).

You might want to talk to your web hosting company to see what they have to offer.

Aside from that, if anything goes wrong, simply renaming the /tribe-events/ folder to /z_tribe-events/ should fix things.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.
