ParticipantI’m encountering unusual behavior with the shortcode.
[tribe_events view=”photo” category=”great-sounds-series” tribe-bar=”false” limit=”9″]When the page loads only 6 events show up, if you click the next events link under the events it says there are no more events. If you then click the previous events link it shows all 9 events?

MemberGood afternoon Roger and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.I believe the issue comes for the limit argument itself.
You see, although that works for our widget shortcodes: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/ , it is not part of the full calendar view shortcodes: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/Furthermore, based on your copy-paste of the code, there appears to be something off with the last quotation mark (it is different than the others). Normally that attribute would normally simply get ignored.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have unfortunately.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

ParticipantSo with the event_list shortcode how can I get it to show more than just 6 events?
May 16, 2017 at 8:32 pm #1284731roger
ParticipantFixed the quote but that still didn’t fix this issue:
When the page loads only 6 events show up, if you click the next events link under the events it says there are no more events. If you then click the previous events link it shows all 9 events?
Can you assist with that issue?

MemberGood evening Roger,
Thank you for writing back.

I am pretty sure this is theme specific.
Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.In the meantime, you might want to look for a setting in your theme options that tackles how many posts are displayed when an “archive” is called.
Hang in there!

ParticipantOk just sent, the odd issue is the unexpected behavior when you click to next events, then go back to see all 9

ParticipantOne note: this is only happening on shortcodes that include the category?
It works fine on the homepage: https://sheldontheatre.sieverscreative.com
But not on the sub pages where we wanted to display events by category? Is one of the functions we added in child theme functions.php conflicting?
use of shortcode with category: https://sheldontheatre.sieverscreative.com/events/homegrown-series

ParticipantThere was code in the functions.php that was causing the conflict. It is resolved. thanks for your assistance.
