    Hi,
i get 404 on all events, when i try clicking them in the widget.
i allready flushed the permalinks, looked for plugin-conflicts and posted the snippet into the functions.php.
and yes, i did empty the cache.
now i need your help to solve this problem.

Good evening Dettmar and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the 404 messages you are getting.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Based on what I am seeing so far, there are 2 things that caught my attention:

    1. You are using a rather old version of PHP. I strongly recommend upgrading at least to 5.4.x+ . In fact WordPress recommends 7+
    2. It looks like you already have another calendar plugin in place and I am pretty sure there is a URL conflict going on.

For example, one of your events is http://www.jugendkulturarbeit.eu/event/499703057087328

By default, our calendar uses the /events/ slug for the main calendar and the /event/ slug for single events.

For this to work, it is very important that there is absolute exclusivity on these slugs (which is not the case on your install), there should be no page or plugin using these slugs.

You could most likely work around that by changing our default slugs under Events -> Settings -> General to something like “calendar-page” and “single-event”. After you do so, please re-save the permalinks.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
