MemberGood evening Aaron and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. Can you set a date and time for registration cutoff on an event? we need to turn the registration off for these events on the previous Friday at 5pm. We would still want users to be able to view the events on the calendar, but not be able to register past the cutoff date.
Absolutely. And you can do that at an individual ticket level.
The tickets disappear from the event, but the event is fully viewable once the cutoff date is met.
the ability to export a list of registrants for the weekend events
Absolutely, this is possible. You will simply need to use Event Tickets (free) alongside Event Tickets Plus (https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets-plus/)
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Matteo and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the 500 error you received.
I would love to help you with this topic. It is quite possible that your customizations will require updating to work properly with the latest version of our plugins.
In fact, you might want to read the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/release-community-events-4-5-the-events-calendar-4-5-4-pro-and-community-tickets/
Additionally, I would highly recommend upgrading your PHP version to at least 5.4+. Older versions tend to produce undesired behaviours.
In fact, WordPress recommends PHP 7+.
Finally, a quick test that would be worth your while would be to revert to a default theme such as twenty fifteen to see if the issue persists.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Sherman and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the tickets going straight to junk mail.
I would love to help you with this topic.I believe the QR code not appearing is actually a side-effect of the ticket being treated as junk mail.
The simplest solution is to have the system send tickets from any chosen email address by simply installing, configuring and testing the following plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/
Using a real SMTP server with authentication will bypass the built-in WP mail functionality altogether.
Please make sure you configure and test the settings using the plugin’s built-in tool.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

We are sorry to hear about the issues you have been facing with the organizer while using WPML.
I would love to help you with this topic.I highly recommend reading and using the following guides:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-translations-for-events-using-wpml/
For one thing you are missing the WPML translation management plugin.
Secondly, I would highly recommend upgrading the PHP version on your server. Your current version is know to cause various issues. You should consider at least PHP 5.4.x+ . In fact, WordPress recommends PHP 7+
Let me know how that goes.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the issue you encountered.
Major kudos on finding a workaround. So far we have seen a number of issues which is a shame, the plugin used to be fairly solid but seeing more and more problems these days.
I am truly sorry to hear that as we do take that aspect of our plugins really seriously.
In fact, we have put more efforts than ever towards that goal in the last 6 months. If you don’t mind, please report each glitch you bump into in separate threads. This way we can make sure to address every single one of them.
Another issue we have just spotted is that Ajax loading doesn’t work when moving to the next page of events, it simply reloads the same page over and over. (does this with the default theme also).
This sounds like either a server performance issue or some type of conflict (perhaps with another plugin).
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
As per your suggestion, please open a separate thread if that proves unsuccessful.
You are welcome back in our support forums any time 🙂
For now, I am going to close this thread.
Have a great weekend!

We are sorry to hear about the language not being greek on the calendar page.
I would love to help you with this topic. As a side note, I am also noticing that you are using WPML.
I highly recommend reading and using the following guides if you have not already:- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-the-events-calendar-with-wpml/
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-translations-for-events-using-wpml/
When translation file strings are not kicking in, it is usually caused by one of the following things:
- Your translation files are not up to date
- You are using some customized translation files that have been placed in the /wp-content/languages/ or /wp-content/languages/plugins/ folder. These might not be updated and will override any other file.
- The strings are translated, but are considered “fuzzy”
In the first 2 cases, the solution is to update your translation files using the pot file. You can do this by using the Poedit software and heading to Catalog > Update from pot file.
In the last case, you will need to make them “unfuzzy” using Poedit.
It could also be caused by the fact that the Greek language file is currently incomplete (around 40%).
I highly recommend reading the 3 following articles on translation:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/how-to-override-plugin-language-files/
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/incomplete-translations/
Finally, it will depend on your settings under WPML > Theme and plugins localization.
I highly recommend one of the first 2 settings at the top of the page.Worst case scenario, you can always translate the missing strings using WPML string translation.
Let me know how that goes.

I would love to help you with this topic. The short answer is yes. You can modify every single view to your liking.
This is accomplished via some view (template) customization. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
Basically, you can have your own customized version of any of our view files, which means you can move elements around.
Let me know how that goes.

I would love to help you with this topic. You are correct, this is most likely to require a bit of customization on your end.
As you might know, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues.
We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.
With that in mind, here is a snippet that completely disables ticket from being emailed. Hopefully that will help you get going: https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/67488cc3d5dda12a9e252e16e39191f4

I would love to help you with this topic. Can you help me disable the ticket quantity change on the cart page instead?
Absolutely.
You could apply the following snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top): https://gist.github.com/elimn/ed648363bbac1061e37bdbf7ecb720b3#file-tribe_hide_woo_quantity_change-php

MemberGood evening and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products. It’s truly appreciated.
However, please note that we do not offer support for our free plugin in this premium add-ons forum.
But, the good news is that you are still welcome to consult this forum to your liking and browse it for solutions, snippets and tutorials.
If you don’t mind, in the future could you please post your support questions here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/the-events-calendar or perhaps consider the purchase of one of our premium plugins to get access to premium support ?
With that in mind, how the calendar will appear truly depends on how your WordPress theme handles archives. You might want to try different settings for Events Template under Events -> Settings -> Display to see if that helps.
As for hiding the arrow, I would highly recommend reading the following article: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-google-chrome-developer-tools/
This should enable you to hide the element with CSS.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.Alas, we do not offer discount codes for single products at the moment.
As you know, the best way to save is to purchase bundles. If you are looking to add the equivalent of the Community Manager bundle (https://theeventscalendar.com/bundle-community-manager) save for the filter bar (which you already have), we could absolutely make sure that you get the equivalent level of discount.
Additionally, we do have a few sales a year, so keep an eye out!
Have a good weekend,

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. You are correct, this is truly annoying to customers.
The good news is that normally the add to cart button should get removed automatically once the stock reaches zero.Since this is not the case on your site, there is probably some kind of conflict at play.
As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Could you also please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.Hang in there!

MemberGood evening Kyle and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.I would like to build a website selling tickets for recurring events that the client can set up themselves.
I believe that the perfect product bundle for that would be: https://theeventscalendar.com/bundles/bundle-community-manager/
However, the caveat is that our support for recurring event tickets is incomplete at the time of writing (but we are working on that feature).
The only option available is to have the exact same tickets available for a series of recurring events. In other words, each recurring events does not get its own set of tickets.
Should you wish to, you can choose to display the tickets only in the first event of the series.
Would this be possible with the complete bundle @ $499?
Yes, however the Community Manager bundle will also do this for you.
1. When using the community events/tickets feature, how does the payment get calculated? Do we take the whole payment minus the 15% commission for e.g or does the system split the payments? Who takes the payments, us or the client?
How it gets calculated is controlled by you. You can either take all of the payment or use Paypal Split Payments.
If you have not already done so, I would recommend reading the following:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/community-tickets-configuring-paypal-split-payments/
2. Can we use Stripe to process payments?
Yes. However, split payments is not available via Stripe at the time of writing.
3. Could you recommend any responsive themes that are compatible with the software?
This is really up to you. But a lot of our customers are using Divi, Avada or Eventica.
4. I think that we can work with this this setup, I would just like some reassurance that if we purchase and it doesn’t meet our requirements, would we be able to cancel and refund?
As long as you are 30 days of your purchase you can absolutely get a refund 🙂
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!
