ParticipantHi, on the event page where tickets are listed, if a ticket is sold out it remains visible and can actually be placed into the Woocommerce shopping cart. It’s not until the customer tries to checkout that they are told that the ticket type is out of stock, which is obviously very annoying for customers.
Is there a way to hide out of stock tickets from showing at the event-page level?
Thanks,
Robb.June 9, 2017 at 10:01 pm #1296083Geoff B.
MemberGood evening Robb and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. You are correct, this is truly annoying to customers.
The good news is that normally the add to cart button should get removed automatically once the stock reaches zero.Since this is not the case on your site, there is probably some kind of conflict at play.
As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Could you also please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.Hang in there!

ParticipantHi Geoff, I thought I’d post this in case anyone else is struggling with this issue. I seem to have found a solution. For tickets I had the “Enable global stock” setting checked. Unchecking this fixes the issue.
All good now.
Thanks,
