MemberHello Terry and welcome back to the forums!
So sorry for the slow load! Could you try turning on WP_DEBUG? You can then try downloading the Debug Bar plugin. This plugin analyzes the queries that are run when trying to access the page. It’ll also pull out really slow queries and highlight them for you. This will help us to narrow in on what may be causing this performance issue when editing events.
Thanks!

MemberHi Gary,
Good question! To the best of my knowledge, I believe you would need to refund the purchase and process a new transactions from there for the different tickets.
Is that what you did, or were you trying something else?
Thanks!

MemberHi Brendan — hope all is well, dude!
Good question. You can add the category by editing the list/single-event.php template and using the tribe_get_event_categories() function where you would like the category to display.
Will that work for you? Let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHey Lynne, sorry for the delay in getting back to you! I’ll be filling in here for Ron.
It looks like the image is coming directly from your theme:
http://www.washingtonblade.com/wp-content/themes/Firestarter/images/postimage.jpgAs best I can tell, the theme is adding that image in there by default when no featured image is added. Would it be possible to get in touch with the theme developer to take a look? I think that would shed some light on what’s happening here and whether there is anything we can do on the plugin’s end to help.
Thanks!

MemberThanks for the info, Mikhail!
I tried matching the settings of my test site to the settings in your system information but wasn’t able to replicate the issue. The next thing I’d like to check is whether you see the distance filter when your site is in default conditions like my test site. Will you please follow the steps outlined in this article and let me know if you notice a difference? That will help us pinpoint any conflicts, if they exist.
Thanks!

MemberMy pleasure! Thanks so much for following up. 🙂
You know, we actually do have a datepicker for List View — it’s just not as apparent as you might think. If you check out this demo site over here and click the “Dates From” field in the top bar, it will trigger a calendar datepicker that updates the list of events.
Sorry if I misunderstood that the first time around, but is that closer to what you were hoping for?
Cheers!

MemberGotcha, thanks Tony. In that case, it would be great if you could add that feature request — I can see how an automated cleanup would be useful for sites with lots of events.
Did you have any other questions about the handling of past events? Let me know and I’d be happy to help as best I can.
Thanks!
GeoffGeoff
MemberYou bet, thanks!
Will you please send me a dump of your database and post it here as a private reply? I want to take it to the development team and do a little more digging on our end.
I appreciate your patience while we look into this together!
