MemberHello Georg and greetings from the US!
That’s definitely possible. In addition to Events Calendar PRO, you will also want to check out our Community Events plugin–that plugin will allow visitors to submit events to the calendar without having to log directly into the WordPress dashboard.
Does this sound like it will work for you? I sure hope so!
Cheers,
GeoffGeoff
MemberHi Eric, thanks for getting in touch!
Event Tickets Plus allows you to create a fixed number of tickets for an event, so only the number of tickets available can be sold for the event. Once tickets are sold out, a notice will display on the event communicating that tickets are no longer on sale.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers,

MemberHello Sumeru and thanks for reaching out! I’m so glad to hear you purchased the plugins and I hope you really enjoy using them. 🙂
I see the Tickets tab on the page but it just wouldn’t appear on the page no matter what I do.
Will you please check the dates of the ticket for me and send me a screenshot of those settings? The reason I ask is that tickets will not display on the page until they are set to go on sale, so if the sale date is either in the future or in the past, then the ticket form would be deactivated from the page.
Let’s start there and see what we find.
Thanks!

MemberHi Daniel,
Great question! Event Tickets Plus does indeed allow you to create your own registration fields directly in the plugin. Unfortunately, attached files is not one of the available fields in the feature.
I do think you could use something like Contact Form 7 or Gravity Forms to capture attendee data, but the trick (and where there would likely be a fair amount of custom development) is attaching that data from the form plugin to the tickets that are sold with each ticket. For example, if multiple tickets are sold in a single transaction, then there would have to be some way for the form plugin to relate that information back to the specific tickets that were sold on a ticket-by-ticket basis.
Does this help answer your question? Please let know if you have any other questions and I’d be happy to help as best I can!
Cheers,
GeoffGeoff
MemberHey Natasha, thanks for reaching out with a heads up on this!
This does appear to be a theme conflict, as you correctly noted.
The theme author should also likely be notified of this, but here’s something you should be able to add to the theme (preferably child theme)Â style.css file or using Simple Custom CSS, to make that text go away:
#top .tribe-events-page-template #wrap_all .main_color h3 { display: none; }It appears that the theme intends that to be screen reader text as an accessibility feature. That’s awesome, but is still worth letting them know because they might have a cleaner way of removing the text without it affecting the benefits of accessibility.
Thanks!

MemberHowdy Tac– nice to see you again and I hope all is well. 🙂
Good question. There is not one-click option for an organizer to close an event, other than deleting it by logging in and removing it from their list of events (screenshot).
It’s also worth noting that once the tickets for an event have sold out, the ticket form will display a notice that the event has sold out and that no more tickets remain. That will prevent anyone from purchasing any more tickets and help you avoid overselling.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
