One Click Close Event?

Hi,

Do we have a functionality to close event by clicking just a button. Ideally, you’d just click the close event button and the system confirms if the organiser really wants to confirm. Once confirmed, the event tickets should not be available any more for sale and the event should be marked as closed for online sale.

Is there any way to do this? If not, what’s the current quickest way to close the event and let the buyers know that the event is now closed out for online sale?

Good question. There is not one-click option for an organizer to close an event, other than deleting it by logging in and removing it from their list of events (screenshot).

It’s also worth noting that once the tickets for an event have sold out, the ticket form will display a notice that the event has sold out and that no more tickets remain. That will prevent anyone from purchasing any more tickets and help you avoid overselling.
