    Thanks so much!

    This seemed to do the trick when I tested it out (screenshot). You can add this to your theme (or child theme) style.css file, or by using the Simple Custom CSS plugin:

    #tribe-events-content.tribe-events-single .tribe-events-schedule.updated {
    margin-left: 0;
    }

    .single-tribe_events h2.tribe-events-single-event-title {
    margin: 0;
    }

    I really hope that works for you as well but, if not, it may need to be tweaked a bit and perhaps the theme author will be able to shed some more light there. Let me know if it works!

    Cheers,
    Geoff

    Oh shoot, sorry about that. It’s always a bummer to hear about theme conflicts.

    The best route would be to ask the theme author to see if they can find anything that might be triggering the conflict. The theme author will be much more fluent with the code for the theme and have the best idea of where to troubleshoot.

    In the meantime, of course, I’d be happy to leave this thread open in case any questions pop up from that exchange that we can help answer. Also, if you drop me a note with which theme you’re using, I’d be happy to flag it for our team so we can be aware of it as well when supporting others.

    You can certainly change themes, but I also know that’s not always the most ideal thing to do. Either way, I’ll leave this thread open and see if there’s anything we can do on our end to help iron things out.

    Thanks so much!

    Hi @sunbridgeinstitute and thanks for following up!

    There is one other thing that Related Events takes into account, which is the event titles in addition to the event category.

    It looks like many of the same events are showing up in your Related Events section, but they do change from event-to-event.

    For example, this event (screenshot) is showing different related events than this event (screenshot).

    In other words, it seems like everything is working–are you getting different results when you compare events? There will indeed be times when the Related Events from one events will be the same as another, but it would be an issue if that was always the case.

    Let me know if I’m seeing that correctly and we can go from there.

    Thanks!

    Thanks for the heads up! We are indeed aware of that — I just saw a ticket open in our system to work on that very thing, so I appreciate you noticing and letting me know so I could check on it. 🙂

    Everything else good to go with RSS?

    Cheers!

    Hmm, the only one that jumps out at me is the Follow Ups extension for WooCommerce. It does require you to use WooCommerce as your ecommerce plugin, but it also includes a lot of advanced triggers to create notifications for folks once they’ve made a purchase.

    Hi Richard,

    I’ve been doing some extra testing on this and am having a tough time recreating the issue. Let me walk you through the steps I’ve tried so far so we can see where our paths might differ:

    • Running The Events Calendar, Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus — no other plugins at the moment
    • Running the default WordPress Twenty Sixteen theme
    • Created a test event
    • Made a ticket for that event
    • Made sure that the “Request information for each attendee during registration” was selected (screenshot)
    • Created custom fields for that event (screenshot)
    • Saved the event and opened it up on the front end
    • Saw the custom fields from the ticket once I selected a ticket from the form (screenshot)
    • Completed a purchase
    • Went to my attendee report for the event
    • Saw the attendee information captured in the report (screenshot)

    Are these the same steps you’re following when testing? Just want to confirm we’re both looking at the same thing since I’ve been unable to recreate the issue myself and I really want to get to the bottom of this with you.

    Thanks!

    Hey Jane! Nice to see you again and I hope all is well. 🙂

    Absolutely–you can view past events at any time by heading here:

    http://www.ntcoss.org.au/calendar/past

    That will redirect your calendar view to show past events.

    Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.

    Cheers!

    Hi Haley,

    Thanks for reaching out!

    Ah, yeah, it looks like your theme might be styled in such a way that the image space will remain intact even if there is no image to display — that’s no good!

    Do you happen to have a link to where I can see the issue? No guarantees, but I may be able to dig in and provide a little snippet to hide that area if I can view the page.

    Thanks!
    Geoff

    P.S. I moved this thread from our Pre-Sales to our Events Calendar PRO forum. Same URL to get here, but you may need to log into your account in order to reply. 🙂

    Hello Marlies,

    Absolutely! That is a known bug and we are on it. I looked up the ticket in our system and see it is a top priority for us and planned for the very next maintenance release, version 4.2.1, assuming that all goes according to plan.

    I’ve noted this thread in that ticket and will be sure to follow up with you here when I know more. 🙂

    Thanks for your patience while we tackle this!

    Hi Carlas,

    Oh shoot, that’s no good! Let’s see if we can figure this out together.

    First off, I see you tried the following:

    • Deactivated all other plugins? Yes
    • Switched to a default theme? Yes

    Did you happen to notice a difference when you deactivated all other non-Modern Tribe plugins and switched to a default WordPress theme, like Twenty Sixteen? I tried those steps on my own test site and was able to add the image header (screencast). Did you get a different result when testing in those default conditions?

    Thanks!

    Thanks for following up!

    Yes, Event Tickets Plus will send out an email containing the tickets once the purchase has been complete. the purchase confirmations themselves are handled by the ecommerce plugin you use with it. So, for example, if you are using WooCommerce with Event Tickets Plus, then WooCommerce will send emails for the purchase and confirmation.

    I’m afraid that Event Tickets Plus, however, does not send out email reminders ahead of the event. That is something we are working on though and hope to ship in the near future. Please do add your vote to the feature request and that will notify you when we make progress on the feature and release it. 🙂

    Cheers!
