I’m sorry that Event Tickets Plus did not meet your needs. I’ve refunded the payment and you will see the funds back in your account in 5-10 days.
Best of luck with your project!

MemberHey JT and hope you had a great weekend!
Yes, you would need to purchase Events Calendar PRO for the Map View. Events Calendar PRO includes additional calendar views than what come with the free version of The Events Calendar, Map View being one of them.
If I don’t care about automatic event additions from Facebook do I still need the Facebook addon?
Totally not at all. Facebook Events is not required for the calendar to function. However, if you ever decide that you want to import events from Facebook into The Events Calendar (whether on a scheduled or non-scheduled basis), then you will certainly need to pick that plugin up to make it happen.
Does this help clear things up bit?
Cheers!

MemberHi Arnie,
It’s very possible that there will be some CSS work to do once the markup for the template has been customized. I’m not exactly sure why the meta box would be be lost if the featured image code was the only thing to change in the template.
I see you are using the Enfold theme. I do know that it includes a number of customizations to The Events Calendar that are different than what our plugin ships with right out of the box.
Just to confirm, was there already a tribe-events folder in your theme when you followed the steps from my previous reply?
Thanks!

MemberHi Sumeru, hope you had a great weekend!
I want the Event Details and Booking Option only inside the Book Now Tab ideally.
Just to confirm, does the ticket form display on the page if you switch to the default WordPress Twenty Sixteen theme? I want to confirm that because The Events Calendar does not include tabs on event posts like the ones on your site and it could very well indicate a theme conflict.
Let’s try that and see what we find. If the ticket form is still not displayed with Twenty Sixteen active, then we may have to try some deeper troubleshooting steps to pinpoint what’s happening.
Thanks!

MemberThanks for the head sup, Phillip,
The CSS snippet worked when I tested it in my browser, but you may need to tweak it a bit to work with your specific setup. For example this will most certainly do the trick, but might have the effect across your entire site:
#top #wrap_all .main_color h3 { display: none; }Cheers!

MemberHey Arnie and welcome back to the forums. 🙂
Good question. Yeah, that’s totally doable with a template override. You can read more on this in our Themer’s Guide, but it basically boils down to this:
- Make a copy of the single-event.php template. It is located at /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/single-event.php.
- Make a new folder in your theme or child theme called tribe-events
- Drop the copied single-event.php template into that folder
Now that the template is in your theme, you can modify it to suit your needs. In this case, you can grab the code for the featured image and place it above the title.
Will this work for you? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi Natalie and thanks for the reaching out!
Absolutely — you can change the font color using custom CSS on the calendar. Our Themer’s Guide walks through how to do that in great detail.
If you’re looking for something more like color-coding events on the calendar, then you might want to check out the Category Colors plugin. It’s free does a pretty nifty job of it right out of the box.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHello JT,
Thanks for reaching out!
Good question. At minimum, all you need is:
- The Events Calendar (free)
- Facebook Events
- WordPress 4.0 or greater
Facebook Events will allow you to set up an automatic import of events from a Facebook page, as long as that page is publicly accessible and the events are not restricted. You can set the frequency of those imports to be automatic or manual, however you choose.
When the events are imported, they will contain the map and location of the event, if that information is available in the Facebook event itself.
It’s worth noting that the event, once imported, does not include the ability to RSVP for that event — that still has to happen on Facebook, but the event will display a link to the original Facebook post. 🙂
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know!
Cheers,
