    Hi There,

Just a quick pre-sales question from me. I’m working on a client website where for each event, they would like to have different ticket prices available for the one event. For example, for a movie screening, they would like to have a student priced ticket, a member priced ticket and a non-member priced ticket. On the odd occasion, they would also like to be able to have a table of 10 type option as well. I would like to find out if this is possible with your plugins (event calendar pro + tickets pro with a woocommerce integration.

Our ideal workflow is outlined below in case that helps:

    1. A person finds an event they want to purchase tickets for on the calendar
    2. They click a “book now” or “more info” button which will take them to the full detail view of the events
    3. On the full event details page, there is either a form to fill out to purchase the tickets where they can select their ticket type or a button taking them to a single form where they can purchase tickets and they select their ticket type from there.

I’ve had a bit of search through the support forum via google but can’t seem to find out how steps 2 and 3 would work. Do I need to setup a product in woocommerce? Is this done automatically with event calendars? Are the ticket prices attributes for a product in woocommerce that need to be setup and purchased that way?

Also, with this type of arrangement, is it possible to also purchase multiple tickets at the same time. For example – purchase 2 student tickets and 3 members and one non-member ticket for the same event? And when doing this would we be able to have a set of fields show up for each ticket purchased – e.g. name, address, position, company, email, dietary requirements?

    Thanks,
    Stacey

Howdy Stacey and thanks for getting in touch!

This is a great question. I think this will be the right combination of plugins for you:

    • The Events Calendar (free) – This plugin provides the core calendar functionality, allowing you to publish and manage events on your site.
    • Event Tickets (free) – This allows you to create RSVPs for those events and sets the stage for the next plugin, which is…
    • Event Tickets Plus – This allows you to create and sell tickets for the events on your calendar and creates those tickets as products in the ecommerce system of your choice (e.g. WooCommerce).

This will definitely allow you to create as many tickets and ticket types for your events as you see fit. Plus, it allows you to collect the additional information you are looking for from those who purchase the tickets, including the purcahse of multiple tickets in the same transaction.

Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers,
    Geoff
