    Hi @nermoz,

Are you using the the shortcode on your /calendar page? In other words, is that a page you created in WordPress and added the [tribe_events] shortcode to it?

    Thanks!

    Hi Simon,

    Thanks for following up!

If I’m understanding correctly (and please forgive me if I’m not), Event Aggregator is capable of pulling in any number of “streams” into The Events Calendar, but is not really designed to be a stream in and of itself.

Is that what you mean by “streams”? If not, please elaborate a little more on what you mean by those and how you would use them. That would help a lot.

    Thanks a ton!

Right on and thanks for following up to confirm. I really am sorry our plugins aren’t the best fit here but I do hope you’ll keep us in mind the next time a project comes up that needs an awesome calendar. 🙂

    Cheers,

Hey @nermoz, thanks for following up!

We re have a development schedule where we release updates about every two weeks. We’re in the middle of the next release, and I would imagine it will ship by the end of next week, if all goes according to plan.

The reason the tooltips work on the demo is because it is not using the shortcode. The bug is in the shortcode itself, but works perfectly fine in the default calendar.

Stay tuned and thanks again for your patience on this!

    Hi Denon,

My name is Geoff and I head up support here at Modern Tribe. Hunter brought this thread to my attention and I wanted to reach out personally. You make some good points in here and I want to make sure I provide some clarification on the “agreement” between Modern Tribe and Theme Fusion as far as the compatibility goes between our products.

The first thing to note is that there is no agreement between our companies. Rather, we have built The Events Calendar (and all our products) to be easily theme-able for any developer to customize in ways to suit their needs. This includes the ability to override the plugin templates and stylesheets, in addition to having a a wide range of available filters to adjust the functionality of the calendar.

Theme Fusion, the author of Avada, has made use of these available resources to develop a version of our product that is bundled into the themes they sell. And, honestly, they’ve done a wonderful job and we’re stoked by the work they’ve done. They have reached out personally when they come across questions about how they can make Avada integrate better with our products and we’ve appreciated that.

By that same token, it also places an extra responsibility on Theme Fusion to ensure that Avada is updated alongside any changes made to the products they have customized. They’re great to work with and, while we have worked together on some some reported issues that our mutual customers have reported, our production and release schedules are not coordinated and that’s because we do not have an agreement with them — bundling and customizing our products is something they freely do because they see it as a benefit for customers.

That said, let’s look at the question you wrote in about:

Is this supposed to be where it is? It was always above the image in bold black text, prior.

Is there a way to get that title to appear above the image like it did before?

The cleanest way would be to roll back to the previous version of our plugins from before the updates. That will certainly revert things back to the way they were.

If, however, you would prefer to use the latest versions of our plugins, then I would recommend reporting the breakage to the Theme Fusion support forum. The calendar customizations bundled in Avada are what need to be updated in order to resolve the layout issues and that’s definitely something I know the fine folks at Theme Fusion would not only be happy to help with, but be more effective to do since they are familiar with the custom code that was written.

I really hope this helps clarify things a bit and provide the a solid path for getting things back in order. I can tell that this issue has clearly caused some frustration and my goal is to help get to the most efficient and effective solution possible and I think the path outlined here will do just that.

    Sincerely,
    Geoff

    Hey Paul! Welcome back. 🙂

That’s an interesting question and very nicely explained.

Right now, the only “out of the box” way to do this is to edit the ticket in WooCommerce after is has been created in Event Tickets Plus.

But you probably already know that and are looking for a more streamlined way to do it directly when creating tickets. I honestly have not seen a workaround for that but I can absolutely see how that would be super useful. We actually have an open ticket for that in our feature request forum — would you be willing to add your vote? That will help us see the greater demand for it.

Sorry I don’t have an alternative method for you, but does this at least help answer your question? Please let me know.

    Thanks so much!

Hey @nermoz, welcome back to the forums!

Sorry for the trouble here. The lack of tooltips in the Month View shortcode is indeed a known issue and something we plan to work on in the very next maintenance release.

While we do not have a workaround for this at the moment, I have noted this thread in our system and will definitely follow-up with you when a patch is released. I’ll mark this thread Pending Fix in the meantime.

Thanks for reporting this and for your patience while we work on it.

    Hey Friedrich,

That would be really awesome! It’s something Community Events is unable to do at the moment, but is certainly a great idea.

In fact, we have seen this come up in our feature request forum and I would recommend checking out the ticket because it includes a possible workaround for how to make it work, provided by another customer:

    https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/4989461-let-users-import-their-facebook-events-into-commun

At the very least, please add your vote to the request because it will help show us there are more people interested in seeing it officially supported.

    Cheers!

    Hey there, @sagar!

Events Calendar PRO includes shortcodes that allow you to embed the calendar on any other page or post. Here is more information on what those shortocdes do and how they work:

    Hi Rob,

Thanks for getting in touch and for checking out our plugins!

The best way to get attendees who register for your events into an email marketing tool (i.e. MailChimp) is to use the export option in Event Tickets Plus. It allows you to download a CSV file of all registered attendees, which can then be used to upload to a subscriber list in the email service of your choice.

Here is  more detailed guide for how exporting attendees works within Event Tickets Plus:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/managing-your-orders-and-attendees/#exporting-attendees

And, yes, Event Tickets Plus does require that you use an ecommerce plugin in order to receive payments for the tickets being sold through the plugin. WooCommerce is probably the most common one we see folks use with Event Tickets Plus, but it is also compatible with Easy Digital Downloads, WP-Ecommerce, and Shopp.

As far as automating the process of sharing your attendee information with your email subscriber lists, I am unaware of any plugin or extension that would make that happen. However, if you are using WooCommerce as the ecommerce plugin, then you could use something like WooCommerce for Mailchimp, which is a plugin designed to add customers to a MailChimp subscriber list automatically.

Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!
