ParticipantHi,
I want that people can create and event and sell their tickets on my page by importing their FB Events.
Is this possible?
Would be great!Thanks,

MemberHey Friedrich,
That would be really awesome! It’s something Community Events is unable to do at the moment, but is certainly a great idea.
In fact, we have seen this come up in our feature request forum and I would recommend checking out the ticket because it includes a possible workaround for how to make it work, provided by another customer:
At the very least, please add your vote to the request because it will help show us there are more people interested in seeing it officially supported.
Cheers!

ParticipantThank you your fast answer and I did my vote 🙂
I am not a coder, where should I put this code in?
Thank you for your help!

MemberThanks for voting, Friedrich! I appreciate that a lot. 🙂
You may want to consult with the customer who provided the solution, but I was able to get the Facebook inout field into the form this way:
- Make a copy of the following files: /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/src/views/edit-event.php
- Make a new folder in your theme directory called tribe-events
- Make a new folder in that one called community
- Add the copied edit-event.php file to that folder
- Paste the code into edit-evemt.php where you would like the Facebook import field to display
That worked for me, but you will definitely want to reach out to either the customer who contributed that code or perhaps one of our recommended developers, should it not work for you or you have additional questions about how it works. 🙂
Cheers!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
