WooCommerce Categories within the 'Add new ticket' meta box?

Hello again 🙂

Some of our events are free (100% off), subject to them being used with a coupon. The Usage Restriction on this coupon is linked to our ‘Free’ WooCommerce product category.

Is it possible to show the WooCommerce Categories within the ticket meta box somewhere?

The idea would be to seamlessly assign our free Woo category to some of our tickets on the Add New Event page. At the moment, we have to further navigate to Products, find the Ticket Name and assign the category there.

Or, is there so other way we could achieve this?

Hey Paul! Welcome back. 🙂

That’s an interesting question and very nicely explained.

Right now, the only “out of the box” way to do this is to edit the ticket in WooCommerce after is has been created in Event Tickets Plus.

But you probably already know that and are looking for a more streamlined way to do it directly when creating tickets. I honestly have not seen a workaround for that but I can absolutely see how that would be super useful. We actually have an open ticket for that in our feature request forum — would you be willing to add your vote? That will help us see the greater demand for it.

Sorry I don’t have an alternative method for you, but does this at least help answer your question? Please let me know.
