MemberHello James
Do you have a license activated on your staging site? If not, could you try briefly activating it there (you might need to temporarily deactivate it from the live site to activate it on the staging). I am hoping that will show a difference.
Thanks

MemberHello Paul
It looks like http://www.kcsourcelink.com/calendar is not running The Events Calendar on their site, or even WordPress. That is needed to use the import from Other URL feature. Did you have another way from this site (iCal, CSV, etc) to get the list of events for importing?
To import Eventbrite events, you’d want Eventbrite Tickets.
If we aren’t able to meet your needs, we totally understand. We do offer 30 day refunds. It’s just a matter of submitting a refund request form at https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/.

MemberHello Christina
Event Aggregator can import from any publicly viewable group or page. Are you trying to import from a public or a private group?
Thanks

We’ve made a free plugin available for you that will resolve this.
Check out Advanced Post Manager.

MemberHello Drew
This is puzzling. Do you have any other web admins? They are able to disable functionality for other users. I am thus far stumped on why you aren’t seeing the options with all other plugins disabled and using a default theme.
Does it happen when Divi isn’t active?
Thanks

MemberHello Tim
I see that you have a license for Events Calendar Pro already. Is it active on the same site? if so, you should be seeing a shortcode display the actual expected output.
Since you are using an IP address still, I am guessing this might be a staging site? In Using One License for Live and Dev Sites https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-one-license-live-dev-sites/, we do specify which domain structures that we currently support for staging sites.
If your site doesn’t match the criteria, you can still use the plugin. You will need to manually run updates, the license may not register (or you could register it there while building and later Move Your License Key https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-your-license-keys/. If you need to contact support during that time, please manually send in your System Info.
Also, watch for those pesky helpful editors that turn ” into ” The smart quotes could mess things up.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberHello Elza
Does this same thing happen when you went through Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/ with a theme like Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/?
I haven’t been able to replicate the issue, but find it very odd that even when you see a favicon, that it isn’t clickable as other featured images are.
Thanks

MemberHello Jean
I’m sorry this is still happen.
Can you temporarily deactivate everything else except for TEC and ECP – and then have then visit Settings > Permalinks to flush the cache (you don’t need to do anything except visit that page to do this) – then see if the problem clears up.
Please keep me posted.
Thanks

MemberHi Beck
Can you disable W3 Total Cache, BackWPup and Transient Cleaner. Then let the site run without those for a few days – or long enough of a window that one of these mass delete events would normally have taken place – and see if it happens again or not.
This is highly atypical behaviour and not something we’re seeing general reports of, so it does point to there being a site specific cause to this.
Keep me posted.
Thanks

MemberHi Bridget
So – drafts will appear first in the ascending order sort.
The dates that are all first appear to be recurring. Is that the case? Are they supposed to occur on that day? Unfortunately, my test of recurring dates could not reproduce this.
Can you send me a screenshot of one of the events that is recurring that appears first?
Finally, can you go through our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/? I am wondering if you might have a plugin or theme conflict. Begin by deactivating all other plugins, using a theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/, and see if the issue still persists. Also, double check for any other updates available (Dashboard » Updates).
Please let me know if the issue still persists after these tests.
Thanks

MemberThanks Arnoud. Again, so sorry this happened, but thankful that we were able to get your site working again quickly. 🙂

MemberHello Brandon
With Events Calendar Pro, you can switch to Photo view, like this: http://wpshindig.com/events/photo/.
You will notice that the events are tiled, but not quite as precisely as the link you shared.
The Photo View uses jQuery Isotope to output the items in a Pinterest-type grid but not in a rigid row-column type grid.
The events are in order if you look at the top of each Photo View item in relationship to the top of the page (not in relationship to each other). Said another way, if your browser’s address bar is the North Pole, all the Photo View items are in order by the earlier start dates being “more north” than later events.
These 2 screenshots may be of further help:
If you’d like to see the sorting script improved, feel free to suggest it as an enhancement at our plugins’ UserVoice page.
This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.
If you’re wanting Photo View’s sorting or grid/layout customized for your site, I’d guess any customization would need to be done via JavaScript, not CSS. If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our list of known customizers.
Is there anything else I can do to help?
Thanks
