Tribe Events PRO Shortcodes not working in WP 4.8

We currently run the Events Calendar PRO on our website http://www.mcr.live/schedule, using this shortcode:

[tribe_events view=”day” category=”schedule”]

This website is currently running WordPress version 4.7.5, and the latest version of Events Calendar PRO.

However, on our testing website which we use to check updates, http://www.is.mcr.live, running WordPress version 4.8 the same shortcode is not being recognised. We thought this may be due to a PRO licensing issue, so we tried the main [tribe_events] shortcode instead, which also isn’t being recognised. This can be seen on is.mcr.live/schedule

We’d like to update to 4.8 but are worried that this will translate across to our main website. The schedule is pretty vital for our business.

Steps we have tried:
– Update plugin to latest version
– Disable all other plugins, and used the TwentyFourteen theme to eliminate any potential conflicts.
– Re-entering the shortcode

If you could take a look into this and help us out, this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello James

Do you have a license activated on your staging site? If not, could you try briefly activating it there (you might need to temporarily deactivate it from the live site to activate it on the staging). I am hoping that will show a difference.

Deactivating the plugin and reactivating resolved it.
