Tribe Events Categories

In WordPress backend ,Tribe Events not showing the option for categories in sub – menu of Tribe-Events, when we bought the plugin,it had and we created categories using that for our events, can anyone help to fix it.

Hello Andres

Can you start by going through our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/?  I am wondering if you might have a plugin or theme conflict.  Begin by deactivating all other plugins, using a theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/, and see if the issue still persists. Also, double check for any other updates available (Dashboard » Updates). 

After that, please send along your System Info https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info.

Some themes integrate with our plugin and alter how the plugin displays some information, such as menu items. If I could see your system info, and a link to your site, I’d better be able to determine that information.

Please let me know if the issue still persists after these tests.

I tried whatever suggestions was there on the theme conflict page,but still its not showing event categories option.I shared system information with you can you please look into that.I will really appreciate your help.

Just to confirm Andres

When using Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/ with all other plugins except ours disabled, event categories did not show?

Hi Courtney

Thanks for quick reply.We took the back up and deleted the theme’s events plugin and then upload the backup after that its working fine.I could not understand the issue but now its working fine, thanks for your time and help.
