ParticipantHi,
I recently bought the Events Calendar PRO multisite plugin for the university I work at, but I am unable to update any settings, import new add-ons, and other things. I am the network administrator.
I have tried clicking Settings in the Plugins tab but I receive the error “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”
I am unsure how to proceed. I don’t think this is a theme or plugin issue since the issue is on the Dashboard itself, but maybe I’m mistaken.
Thanks for your time.

MemberHello Drew
Can you send us your System Info https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
I’m curious what theme you are using. Some themes integrate with our plugin but rearrange settings, particularly on this site.
Also, within this sub-site, can you run through our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/?ย I am wondering if you might have a plugin or theme conflict.ย Begin by deactivating all other plugins, using a theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/, and see if the issue still persists. Also, double check for any other updates available (Dashboard ยป Updates).ย
Do you see any different options on the primary site?
I haven’t been able to replicate this issue on my own local multisite yet, but hope we can narrow this down for you.
Please let me know if the issue still persists after these tests.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Courtney,
I am unable to send you my System Info. as the “Help” option doesn’t appear under the Events tab.
I went through the entire Testing for Conflicts Guide and I am still unable to see the additional options.
I have checked for updates.
We do have Divi installed. That’s the only thing I can think of that might be in conflict, but when I deactivated it the options still did not appear…

MemberHello Drew
This is puzzling. Do you have any other web admins? They are able to disable functionality for other users. I am thus far stumped on why you aren’t seeing the options with all other plugins disabled and using a default theme.
Does it happen when Divi isn’t active?
Thanks

ParticipantHi again,
Turns out I misread what was in the Settings tab…sigh.
I was actually hiding all of the options instead of showing them.
Sorry for the trouble, and thanks for looking into this.

MemberThanks Drew! It can be great to hide some settings from other users, but definitely good you remembered to reactivate them for yourself.
