MemberEric, thanks for your input here.
iCal Importer is “smart” in that it doesn’t re-import deleted events. However, you can reference this previous forum reply if you don’t want that behavior.
FYI: In this forum we try to keep our threads focused on just one issue to ensure we answer each question. Please keep this in mind for the future and start a new thread for your specific request if you still need help with your question. Thanks for your understanding.

MemberHi Kuba.
The guide is there to provide guidance for how you could modify things to how you want them to be.

MemberHi. In Chrome Inspector console, I see this error:
Uncaught TypeError: $ is not a function: http://cl.ly/0G3c1I1A180b
I believe if you change “$” to “jQuery” it might fix your other issue.
Please let me know.

MemberPlease disable all non-Modern Tribe plugins, enable WP_DEBUG, clear your browser cache and then see if things get resolved for you.
I know it’s not a fun process to go through; thanks for doing it.
Cliff
MemberAwesome. Phew! Glad that was it. Good job.
Feel free to open a new thread if you have any other issues.

MemberI’m glad you got things working how you wanted.
It sounds like you’re wanting full 2-way sync. Unfortunately, that doesn’t exist at this time.
I’d suggest you add your vote to this existing feature request.
Please let me know if you need anything else.

February 12, 2016 at 2:07 pm in reply to: ICAL imported events are randomly in UTC timezone but listed at local timezone #1072270Cliff
MemberKevin, to be honest, we’ve seen several timezone issues recently throughout our products (definitely something to be addressed sooner than later) — sometimes setting to a UTC offset fixes it and other times changing to a city name timezone fixes it. I’m not sure if it’s related to different users’ PHP versions or another factor.
As far as when you’ll get notified, this forum thread is tied to our internal bug tracker so you should get a reply here once that bug ticket is closed out.
Sorry I don’t have definite time frames for the expected fix, but thanks for your understanding and patience.
Cliff
MemberMy pleasure. Thanks for letting me know it answered your q’s.

MemberAh, got it. Sorry about the confusion.
FYI: the “Other” text is coming from this file: /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/views/pro/modules/meta/additional-fields.php
There are 2 ways to modify the “Other” text that all of Pro’s additional fields get displayed under (both require touching some code):
- Follow our Themer’s Guide: [your-child-theme]/tribe-events/pro/modules/meta/additional-fields.php
- Change “Other” for the “tribe-events-calendar-pro” text domain: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string/
I hope this helps! 🙂

MemberI re-read your original message:
Although the basic Ticket system built into Events Cal Pro has the basic RSVP functionality we need, it doesn’t offer the customisation we require.
gave me the idea that maybe you’re asking about a customized RSVP form for attendees to submit when they want to RSVP to one of your events…
