If I understood your use case, you’re wanting to display 2 times:

    1. Show events in “featured” category
    2. Show events from all categories except “featured” category

Our Event List shortcode / widget doesn’t have a post ID include/exclude argument.

You could add that idea at our plugins’ UserVoice page.

Please do add your feature request there.

This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.

Once you post it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.

In the meantime, you might need to create the output manually and use tribe_get_events().

Please let me know if this answers your question.

    Thanks for doing that!

In the meantime, here are some third-party (not guaranteed to work) options that may help:

I hope things go well for you.

Glad to hear. If you get it done within 2 weeks, you can reply here (after that, the bot closes non-responsive threads) — otherwise, just post a new forum thread if you choose to share.

    Thanks!

Greg, thanks for your question. I can appreciate your position and timing needs.

The best I can do is point you to the public feature request.

I hope it helps in some way.

    Thanks for your understanding, Bark.

I’m sure it’ll be mentioned in our updates if/when it gets implemented.

    Have a great one!

Thanks for that (I changed it to a Private Reply).

I don’t see anything odd there.

I’d suggest following our Testing for Conflicts Guide, as linked before.

    Thank you.

It could… but wouldn’t you just be creating the same number of Woo products as there are Events?

Am I understanding that you have, say 7 product/ticket types, that all the Events fall into?

If yes, what about this idea… create 7 Event Categories and whichever one that specific event is categorized in, redirect to a specific Woo product page that you have “mapped” to that Event Category?

Please let me know your feedback on these thoughts.

Hi Gladys. I’m sorry to hear about this happening on your site.

As far as upgrades go, we’re way passed version 3.12.4 as of right now.

We only provide support for the current/latest versions of each of our plugins so please upgrade to those versions (including the free/core plugin).

Then please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

Then we can assist with helping you further.

    If needed: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/manual-updates/

    Thanks.

Hi Leanne. I’m glad to hear you’ll be growing your business in this way!

I see you have Event Tickets Plus, our paid add-on plugin that upgrades the functionality of our free Event Tickets plugin. (I assume we’re talking about ET+ and not our WooTickets legacy product.)

It sounds like you’re just missing our Community Events and Community Tickets plugins!

Check out our Bundles pricing — either Community Manager or Ultimate.

I hope this info helps. Please read each product page’s information, including clicking each one’s New User Primer links, and let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

Hi Rick. Sorry to hear you’re having this issue.

Obviously, the point of Recaptcha is to cut down on spam entries so you want to make sure it’s implemented properly.

I visited your link and saw you have 2 Recaptchas there — http://cl.ly/1u2W1H3G2Q0p — and you have a console error — http://cl.ly/0C0e0F3c2g1R — neither of which is default behavior.

Please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

Let us know if you get the Recaptcha to work (disallow submitting the event unless successfully completing the Recaptcha) via our Testing for Conflicts Guide.

    Thanks.

Hi Marcia. You posted in our Pre-Sales forum from a user account that doesn’t have any purchases associated with it.

We don’t answer support questions for Events core/free or PRO add-on in the Pre-Sales forum.

If you made your purchase(s) through a different user account, please login to that account and then post in one of the paid forums.

Thank you for your understanding and thank you for using our plugins.

Hi Henry. Thanks for considering purchasing.

    1. Check out the Pro Color Customizer feature!
    2. The Events Calendar doesn’t have any ticketing/RSVP features, but our free Event Tickets plugin does. Its RSVP tickets do have a quantity per type of ticket (e.g. only 20 available).
    3. If you’d like to offer paid tickets, not just free RSVP-type tickets, you’d need to upgrade Event Tickets to its Plus add-on.

Event Tickets Plus enables you to sell tickets via one of our supported eCommerce platforms. It doesn’t handle checkout/money itself.

You can view our roundup/comparison of all the eCommerce plugins ET+ supports.

Our plugin uses your eCommerce plugin of choice, but your eCommerce plugin isn’t displayed for ticket/shopping pages. Please reference our Making Tickets KB article (screenshots are from an install using WooCommerce) for an idea how to create tickets for an event.

Site visitors would purchase tickets from each event’s single page/view (e.g. example.com/events/rogers-day-at-the-zoo/) — if there is an RSVP to submit or ticket to purchase.

I hope this info helps. Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
