ParticipantPreviously I used woocommerce products variable products as classes. I wanted to add a calendar for added customer information.
So I recently bought cal pro and tickets pro. What I’m finding is I need to create a huge amount of tickets which then get created into a large quantity of continuing woocommerce products. I’m thinking of just using the pro calendar and linking to the product page so customers can purchase a product as before. I input the product page in the events “event website” but it does not go there. If you have ideas on streamlining the process using tickets pro or how I simplify and link the cal events to the product page that would be helpful.
Thank youFebruary 29, 2016 at 7:50 pm #1083674Cliff
MemberHi Patricia. Thanks for your question.
The Events Website field just gets displayed on the Event’s single view as information, not for where the Event’s single view redirects to. Example: http://cl.ly/0F04152i041D
If you give me the exact user flow you’re wanting, I may be able to provide some help for what you’re wanting.
For example, if you want all Event single page views to redirect to that event’s Event Website custom field URL, we could pull that off, but it might not be exactly what you’re wanting to do because then no one would ever see your Event information other than on the archive views (Month, List, Map, etc).
Looking forward to hearing back…

ParticipantThank you.
I have an event on the calendar –
When I click on that, Can that hyperlink go to a woocommerce product page of my choice?
Different events would go to different products. Thanks

MemberIt could… but wouldn’t you just be creating the same number of Woo products as there are Events?
Am I understanding that you have, say 7 product/ticket types, that all the Events fall into?
If yes, what about this idea… create 7 Event Categories and whichever one that specific event is categorized in, redirect to a specific Woo product page that you have “mapped” to that Event Category?
Please let me know your feedback on these thoughts.
