MemberHi Jan. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please share your System Information. That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.
Cliff
MemberYou bet! 🙂

MemberHere’s an iCal feed we use often for testing: http://calagator.org/events.ics
Could you please test if that iCal feed works for your scheduled import?
Thanks.

MemberRiccardo, thanks for sharing your pricing feedback. I have passed it along to management.
(FYI: The normal price is $89/year, not $80.)
Was there anything more I could help with on this topic?
Cliff
MemberI didn’t quite understand that, but please let me know if there’s more I can do to help.

MemberI’d suggest checking after clearing cache and, if it doesn’t work, playing with some other Default Content settings and see if you can discover any other reasons it is the way it is right now.
Please let me know if you find anything else so I can report it to the developers.
Thank you.

MemberDarren, I’ve had a few others test with Android devices that have Google Calendar app installed and confirmed the issue.
Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention.
I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release. I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

MemberHi Laurier. Thanks for the screenshot.
Are you following the Themer’s Guide or using a hook to make your customization to the tooltip? Could you please provide your full code, file location, and filename?
Cliff
MemberHi Riccardo, yes, they work like regular categories so you can go to wp-admin > Events menu > Event Categories sub-menu > and click the “View” link that appears when hovering over each category (like this).
You could copy that link and add it wherever you want, or you can even use the Event Categories links available from the WordPress Menus area (like this).
If you want your site visitors to be able to filter events by category on the front-end of your site, then you’ll want to check out our Filter Bar add-on.
Please let me know if you need anything else.

MemberHi. Thanks for that info. Please make sure your event is Published, you set a quantity available, and you set a start date for when tickets should be available for purchase.
If it’s not working for you, please switch to a WordPress default theme like TwentyFourteen, TwentyFifteen, TwentySixteen, etc. and see if there’s a conflict with Avada.
If that doesn’t solve the issue, please provide some screenshots of your event’s wp-admin tickets area and the publicly-available event link.
Thank you.

MemberCindy, I’m not tired of you at all. I definitely appreciate your thoroughness! It helps us and other users.
It seems the only part left for our development team to address is the use of WordPress’ built-in wp_trim_words() function, which removes all HTML tags so it can accurately count words (and also not leave an HTML tag open without a closing tag in the event the cutoff number of words is between an opening and closing tag).
I believe the current workaround for this situation is to use the manual excerpt meta box, which you might need to enable (check box) via Screen Options on the wp-admin event/post edit screen.
For your styling questions, please reference our PRO Color Customizer KB article and open a new thread for all of those remaining questions that the PRO Color Customizer doesn’t solve for you.
Thank you!

MemberThanks for checking in. I’ll wait to hear back from you.
Cliff
MemberPlease set your site (or a staging/demo site) back to Testing for Conflicts mode (all non-MT plugins deactivated and TwentySixteen theme active) and let me know when I can check it out like that to see if I can spot any issues.
