Hi Patrick. Thanks for your question.

Scanning the QR code will work for anyone signed in to your website (with appropriate permissions) in their default web browser if they use any generic QR code reader, such as BeeTagg’s.

After trying that out, feel free to share additional feedback via https://tribe.uservoice.com/

    Thank you for that information.

Since it’s working with Avada (assuming the same theme version and configurations) on your test site, I’d guess there’s a plugin conflict and not a theme conflict.

Please disable all non-Modern Tribe plugins and see if that solves the issue. If it does, please try to determine which plugin/plugins are causing the issue.

Let me know what you find out.

    Hi Sven.

While there are multiple functions/methods related to recurring events, there isn’t one that does just what you asked.

Please check out this code snippet; I hope you find it useful:

    https://gist.github.com/cliffordp/a77f4943e13f9e4e243564a210f82c83

As-is, it renders like this: http://cl.ly/1h383J1b3L0P

I assume you’ll want to customize it in some ways.

Recurring events logic utilizes the WordPress parent/child relationship, which is why this code uses wp_get_post_parent_id()

    Also, tribe_get_events() is used.

FYI: For future reference, we are limited in coding/customization assistance, but I went a bit above and beyond for you because I had some extra free time and because of your thoroughness with sharing your own code already. I hope my code helps you get across the finish line.

Thanks for that. If you open that in a text editor, you’ll see there are zero events in that basic.ics file.

It’s not the most accurate/helpful error message though. Sorry about that.

Thanks for confirming. I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, and it should receive an update once the fix is released. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Hi. Sorry you’re experiencing this, and thanks for your thorough information.

Please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

If it doesn’t, could you please provide me links to the event(s) and its accompanying screenshot(s) of the wp-admin Event/post editor screen where you setup these recurrence rules?

    Thank you.

Hi Duncan. Sorry you’re experiencing this frustrating issue.

Could you please provide me the URL to your iCal feed?

    Thank you.

    Thanks for doing that.

I realized I think this is one of our known bugs. Do you have any of your Filters set to “autocomplete” (like this)?

If yes, please switch to a different option and see if that solves the View Switcher issue.

    Thank you!

Hi Teresa. Thanks for your question

That message comes from the “submission handler” — to know whether to display “success” or “failure” type messages. In my quick searching through the code, I believe you could leverage the tribe_events_community_submission_message filter.

However, we’ve found this Redirect to different URL after event submission plugin to solve multiple use cases (and is typically easier to implement). For example, you could redirect to a page that has your custom wording on it.

Please let me know if this workaround is satisfactory.

    Have a great weekend!

Hi Ross. You posted in our Pre-Sales forum from a user account that doesn’t have any purchases associated with it.

We don’t answer support questions for Events core/free or PRO add-on in the Pre-Sales forum, and recurring events is a PRO feature.

If you made your purchase(s) through a different user account, please login to that account and then post in one of the paid forums.

Thank you for your understanding and thank you for using our plugins.

Hi Dan. Thanks for your question and your interest in our iCal Importer and other products.

iCal Importer is a powerful plugin that can receive feeds from Google Calendar or any other valid iCal feed. One of its most beneficial features is “scheduled imports” (e.g. import events from a specific iCal URL every 30 minutes).

If you’re simply looking for a way to one-time move from Google to your own site’s calendar powered by our suite of plugins, you could use an iCal to CSV converter (none are guaranteed but we’ve heard of some, e.g. https://www.gcal2excel.com) and then use our free CSV import functionality.

Even easier: we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them. Feel free to try a one-time import or scheduled import and see if it’s worth it to own it for the rest of the year or if it’s better to get the refund.

Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

    Hi Sven.

Event Single pages already display a link to “view all” in a recurrence series.
    Example: http://cl.ly/382c381W1y3e from http://wpshindig.com/event/women-in-tech-monthly-meeting/2016-05-21/

Please explain if you’re not seeing this on your site.

    Thank you.

Hi. Thanks for the helpful video.

Please understand that we like to keep each thread to a single issue. Therefore, please review our WPML article and then create a separate ticket for the WPML/translation issues if you’re still experiencing it.

    ===

There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?

Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.

If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

If it doesn’t, please share your System Information. That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.

Let us know what you find out.

    Thanks.
