ParticipantHello,
I am trying to add recurring events but it doesn’t seem to work. There is also a translation problem that I will address wpml with but I tought you would like to know.
1- The recurring events are not appearing in the calendar
2- The translations are not associating and even after i associate them the language switcher doesn’t link to the other language.Check this video to see the problem : http://screencast.com/t/YQOcaFoEuHt
Thanks in advance

MemberHi. Thanks for the helpful video.
Please understand that we like to keep each thread to a single issue. Therefore, please review our WPML article and then create a separate ticket for the WPML/translation issues if you’re still experiencing it.

There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please share your System Information. That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

MemberThanks for that information.
Please switch to a WordPress default theme like TwentySixteen and see if that solves the issue. If it doesn’t, please then disable those two additional WPML plugins/add-ons and see if that solves the issue.
Let me know how it goes.

MemberActually, when you say it’s not displaying, are you saying the issue is that ONLY the first event in a recurring series is displaying and none of the other occurrences? If yes, that’s one of our confirmed bugs with WPML. Please let me know.

ParticipantHello Cliff,
I did try to switch theme and it still did not work.
Yes this is what is happening (ONLY the first event in a recurring series is displaying and none of the other occurrences). Do you have a fix for this issue ?
Thanks in advance

MemberHey @3ejoueur,
Great news! After a lot of work and effort, we were able to make recurring events compatible with WPML. Our development and QA teams signed off on the feature in Events Calendar PRO 4.3 after working closely with the WPML team to make sure things were working well.
Thanks so much for your patience while we worked on this. We know it has been a long-running item everyone’s wishlist and we couldn’t be more excited to finally get it into your hands.
Cheers,
Geoff -
