MemberHi Christine. Thanks for including the iCal link.
I put your iCal link in an iCal Validator and it had this error: https://cl.ly/202P3G2b2F1T
Our iCal Importer can only be expected to import valid iCal URLs.
Please resolve the issue on your calendar or contact Google regarding this issue.
July 22, 2016 at 2:17 pm in reply to: The Events Calendar + Wootickets *CONFLICTS* with Woocommerce + Product Add-Ons #1143204Cliff
MemberHi again, Ramon. Sorry about all the frustration!
We don’t guarantee support with WooCommerce add-ons, but based on your system information report, it looks like you’re using our legacy WooTickets plugin. You should should use our new Event Tickets and its paid add-on Event Tickets Plus (you already have a license). Everyone with a legacy “tickets” plugin (e.g. WooTickets, EDD Tickets) should already have a copy of Event Tickets Plus in their account. You can read more at Moving to Event Tickets Plus.
Once you’re using Event Tickets Plus, please follow our recommended troubleshooting steps:
Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to TwentySixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any PHP errors you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts mode).
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

MemberHi Shawn.
That’s a good problem to have, I guess 🙂
Here are two code snippets (pick one or the other):

MemberHi Ramon.
If one of these isn’t working for you, please try another method:
- How to Override Plugin Language Files
- Change the wording of any bit of text or string (the one you linked to)
- Creating translations for events using WPML
Please let me know if you need anything else.

July 22, 2016 at 1:25 pm in reply to: Not all categories are showing on Community event entry form. #1143168Cliff
MemberHi Todd. There should be a “show the rest of the categories” sort of link, like this.
I tried to visit your link, but it required a login.
I’m guessing there might be some CSS hiding that link or something else going on that’s hiding the rest of these categories.
If you can’t figure it out, please follow these recommended troubleshooting steps:

MemberHi Florian.
I believe you’re requesting the same thing as one of our existing feature requests: Month View > Have multi-day events ‘span’ the consecutive days rather than individual entries each day
Please do add your vote there.
This allows us to gauge interest in this particular feature request, which helps us prioritize our development efforts.
Thank you.

MemberThanks for the info, Josh.
Could you please provide annotated screenshots + links to view each screenshot so I can better understand what you’re seeing?
Cliff
MemberChad, our latest Community Events version 4.2.3 release fixes this issue. Our demo site isn’t updated yet.
As stated in my last reply, please update to the latest versions of all Modern Tribe plugins.

MemberHi, Mike. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
You might want to try increasing the memory limit on your current server:
- Here’s is how to upgrade WordPress’ memory limit, right from the WP Codex
- Here is the PHP reference for modifying your php.ini memory limit
Sometimes this is necessary as well. Not all hosting plans allow you to edit the php.ini file, so you would need to consult with your provider on how to do it and if you need to switch plans. You might even ask them what the maximum allowed memory is for the current plan, and make sure you are already there.
Keep in mind that WordPress is a powerful application, and our Calendar only adds to that power.

MemberThanks for all that info. It looks like your Modern Tribe plugins and WordPress core are at their latest versions, which is great.
I tried the URLs in an iCal Validator and the first resulted in “Property [PRODID] must be specified once” and the second one resulted in this error: https://cl.ly/2V06000e0u0n
(Note that I had to download the .ics files and copy their contents into the validator instead of just using your webcal:// URLs.)
Our iCal Importer can only import valid iCal files.
