MemberMike, I didn’t miss that you thought your client’s issue was the same as was mentioned at https://theeventscalendar.com/release-events-calendar-pro-4-2-2-1/
Since you said the site is timing out, there’s obviously an issue — but if the “fix” plugin didn’t work for you, it could be because your system is already overloaded, and therefore extra memory (until the issue is resolved) may help.
Since you said the “fix” plugin immediately crashed the site, did it cause 500 errors or PHP errors or memory timeouts or some other kind of errors? Did the entire site (wp-admin and home page) crash or just when trying to view the /events pages/views?
As stated in my previous reply and in the linked article, the “fix” plugin can take time to do its work, which is why I recommended allowing 1-2 days (especially since it was going to be over the weekend when our support team is off duty).
And we always do recommend switching to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Sixteen and deactivating all non-Modern Tribe plugins to avoid any conflicts or, in this case especially, any other plugins taking resources that TEC may need extra of until it’s all fixed.
I hope this extra information provides better context for you to help your client’s site get fixed ASAP.
Please keep me updated.
Thanks!

MemberActually, this might be a better idea at this stage of troubleshooting:
Download the “fix recurring events” plugin from https://theeventscalendar.com/release-events-calendar-pro-4-2-2-1/ and see if that resolves the issue for you.
You will need to keep TEC PRO active for this plugin to take effect over time.
Please keep me updated.

MemberThanks!
I know it’s something they’re actively discussing for an upcoming release.
Have a good week.
Cliff
MemberPlease leave that code snippet in place but then deactivate TEC PRO plugin and then the snippet should work and should display all the Post IDs of posts that have recurrence settings in the database. Please provide me that list of post IDs.

MemberThank you very much.
1)
If you have 295 quantity available (let’s assume you’ve only sold 5 so total quantity was 300) of the $5.35 ticket:
- if you change that ticket to have a quantity of 5 (so it’s sold out)
- and create a new ticket on this event with 295 original quantity
- does it still happen?
2)
Can you replicate the issue on more than just this one event?

MemberHi Charles.
Thanks for your interest in our PRO upgrade.
Annual renewal is required to continue access to our support and our PRO plugin updates.
Although not guaranteed to continue forever, our renewal price is currently discounted (so lower than $89/year at this time).
I hope this helps you make an informed decision.
Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
Cliff
MemberThanks for that extra information.
Using the shortcode like you did on my local testing site, everything worked as expected. I used http://www.timeanddate.com/date/timezoneduration.html to compute if the countdown was accurate or not.
Does it happen if you try using that event’s ID instead of its Slug?
`[tribe_event_countdown id=1497 show_seconds=”yes”]`
There were one or more releases since our last interaction. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please share your System Information again.
Thanks!
Cliff
MemberSorry you’re disappointed, Joseph.
Please complete our Refund Request Form, and let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

Please reference our Moving your license keys KB article and let me know if you need anything else.

MemberHi. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
I see that link is at “/eventsleads” but I think your events calendar is actually at http://www.orartswatch.org/events/, however that is a blank page.
Please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any PHP errors you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.

If that doesn’t display anything, please follow the rest of our recommended troubleshooting steps:
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to TwentySixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts mode).
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

MemberHi Andrew. I replied at https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/facebook-import-error/ so I’ll close this thread.
In the future, please only create a single thread for a single issue.
Thank you.

MemberHi, Andrew. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
It looks like all of your Modern Tribe plugins and WordPress core are at their latest versions, which is great.
I am curious about a few things:
- How long have you been seeing this error message?
- Have you asked your web host about this message (especially because it mentions Varnish cache)?
- If you reduce the number of Facebook imports in your plugin settings, do things then work?
You might also want to increase your WordPress or server memory limits.
It might be helpful to follow our general troubleshooting steps:
Please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to TwentySixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any PHP errors you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts mode).
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.
