MemberHi Alexander.
1)
If you’re making edits to existing events (previously imported to WordPress) and those edits aren’t making it into WordPress, then please do check the box to overwrite existing events: https://cl.ly/0u3y0y1n113B
Please note that any edits you’ve made to these events in wp-admin can be overwritten!
2)
If, instead, your issue is that events from your Google Calendar are not importing at all, could you please try your iCal URL at this iCal file validator?
If you can’t resolve the issue based on that information, please provide me the link to the iCal URL you’re importing, along with any screenshots or links that may be helpful in resolving your issue.
Thank you.

MemberHi Kate. Thanks for the thorough information.
While we’re not your SEO advisors, I’d definitely recommend not letting things 404 indefinitely; if you know of a problem, you should fix it to avoid Google losing trust in your site and, possibly more importantly, having a poor user experience if someone arrived via one of those links and landed at a 404 instead of all your events.
If you’re getting 404s because you changed the ‘events’ and ‘event’ words to something else (like yoursite.com/calendar/), everything should be fine and you just need to redirect these 404s to their new location. This article might help with this task (third party information not guaranteed by us).
Regarding your theme: it shouldn’t be affecting your Permalinks, but it’s always a good idea to re-save / refresh your Permalinks settings after switching themes or plugins.
I hope this information helps!

MemberHi Julia. Thanks for your detailed question.
Have you referenced our Using tribe_get_events() KB article?
Based on that article, my first suggestion would be to try your start_date as 2016-07-22 00:00 (or possibly ending in 00:01) and your end_date as 2016-07-22 23:59
Other than that, I cannot provide much customization help. But please let me know if you have follow-up questions.
As a general reminder of best practices when developing your site:
Please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions:
And follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to TwentySixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) to make sure things work in the “default” / fresh / basic environment (also good to disable any caching).
You should also enable WP_DEBUG and keep an eye on your console at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

MemberHi suhas.
You could use one of our plugin’s widgets or shortcodes.
If you want the Month view or another view that isn’t available via our widgets or shortcodes, you could use the links created by default. Here are two examples from our Demo site:
Please let me know if this answers your question.

MemberHi Dan.
Please reference our Changing the name of Venues and Organizers KB article and let me know whether or not the code snippet there helps you accomplish what you’re wanting (for singular and plural).

MemberHi Ingo. Thanks for your question. I think this is a practical idea. It’s not a current feature, and I didn’t find that as an existing feature request at our plugins’ UserVoice page, so please do add your feature request there.
This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.
Once you post it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.
If you want it now (without waiting through our feature request timeline, which can be a long while) and some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our list of known customizers.

MemberHi. Sorry this is happening for you.
It’s hard to tell if this is your issue or not, but please do strongly consider trying out this temporary plugin fix for runaway recurring events (a bug introduced in version 4.2.2 and fixed within a few days via version 4.2.2.1). If you do try the fix, please do follow the instructions carefully and allow time (maybe 1-2 days) for it to work its fix into all your events.
Please let me know how it goes for you or if you didn’t try it.

MemberHi. Sorry you’re experiencing this, and thanks for all the details.
Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to TwentySixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any PHP errors you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts mode).
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

MemberThat screenshot helped a lot, especially since it’s not a known issue at this point.
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?

MemberI can’t tell if you were planning to ask them or not, but here’s a helpful reference from WordPress VIP about object caching. Please let me know what you find out from your admin.
Cliff
MemberThanks for testing that. Unfortunately, this is a known bug.
I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
Please note that even if this thread gets closed due to inactivity (automatically happens after a couple weeks), this thread should still get a reply added if/when the fix is released.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.
Cliff
MemberHi Lisa. Thanks for all that information. I’m not sure where the system information was shared to, but it should be a copy/paste to this thread as a Private Reply.
Based on all the other information, specifically the 404, I wonder if re-saving your Permalinks settings would solve the problem. If it doesn’t, please take a screenshot of your Permalinks settings page (so I can see what they’re set to), and links to view these 404s at your site.
Thank you.
