This is a continuation of a previous thread: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/show-google-map-checkbox-is-gone/

We have checked the box per the last comment by John but there is still no option to enable it on a per event basis.

    Hi.

There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?

Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.

If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to TwentySixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts mode).

Let us know what you find out.

    Thanks.

Problem is that they would like to have ability to manage this option for events, not venues.

For example, when they select venue for event, no option to manage map visibility for single event. This option is taken from the venue. But they would like to change option for events so when they have 2 different events in same venue, map could be displayed for first event and hidden for second event.

Here was the option in older calendar plugin version so they was able to show/hide map for different events but after updating they can change this option for venue only, not for event.

We updated and now the choice is back however, when we select venue the checkboxes disappear. You can test this here:

Select a Venue and watch the checkboxes. Is there a way to remedy this?

Hi Chad. I see your Community Events plugin is up-to-date, and I am experiencing what you described at your link, but I’m unable to reproduce the issue on my local testing site.

Could you please make sure all your other Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are also at their latest versions?

Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.

If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to TwentySixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any PHP errors you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.

Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts mode).

Let us know what you find out.

    Thanks.

You can open following URL: http://wpshindig.com/events/community/add

It’s your demo page, and I see same problem on there so I don’t think that the issue is isolated with our instal. On this page, after choosing venue from drop down, all Google Maps checkboxes disappeared.

Chad, our latest Community Events version 4.2.3 release fixes this issue. Our demo site isn’t updated yet.

As stated in my last reply, please update to the latest versions of all Modern Tribe plugins.
