MemberHi, Ed.
Thanks for your interest in our products.
iCal Importer is now a legacy product, replaced by our Event Aggregator (EA) service. EA is more stable and has more features. It’s also not an add-on — there’s nothing extra to install besides our The Events Calendar free/core plugin. Our PRO add-on is not required to run EA.
You can check out EA’s Getting Started Guide and then let me know if you have any more pre-sales questions.
Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.

MemberHi Wyn.
Unfortunately, the Eventbrite API can experience intermittent and inconsistent outages, so that could the be issue, at no fault of your own or of our plugins, in which case the solution is to wait and see.
To make sure your site isn’t causing its own errors, I’d suggest enabling WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while editing events, adding/editing Eventbrite tickets, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Please let me know how it goes for you.

MemberYes, this is likely an Ajax conflict with your theme and our plugin.
I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Sixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please re-share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

MemberHi Saif.
I see that’s happening at your site, but I don’t see it happening on our demo site: http://wpshindig.com/events/2016-11-20/
I also tested with the latest versions (updates released earlier today) on my localhost and it also worked as expected.
Since this isn’t a known issue, I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
I noticed a console error at your site: https://cl.ly/271n0l1i460V (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)

MemberExcellent!
I’d still suggest resolving that console error.
Have a great day.

MemberHi Tim. Thanks for your interest in our plugins.
Event Tickets Plus is our paid add-on plugin that upgrades the functionality of our free Event Tickets plugin.
Event Tickets Plus enables you to sell tickets via one of our supported eCommerce platforms. The free plugin only enables free RSVP-type tickets (which are free and work without you needing WooCommerce installed).
You can view our roundup/comparison of all the eCommerce plugins ET+ supports.
Our plugin uses your eCommerce plugin of choice, but your eCommerce plugin isn’t displayed for shopping pages. Please reference our Making Tickets KB article (screenshots are from an install using WooCommerce) for an idea how to create tickets for an event.
Site visitors would purchase tickets from each event’s single page/view (e.g. example.com/events/rogers-day-at-the-zoo/) — if there is an RSVP to submit or ticket to purchase.
Event Tickets Plus does enhance the features of RSVP tickets from Event Tickets even if you don’t have WooCommerce installed.
For example, with ET+, the order confirmation email will include a QR code that can be scanned to “check in” someone at the door at the time of the event. You can read more at Tickets: Managing your orders and attendees.
You can see our Event Tickets Plus + WooCommerce demo at http://wpshindig.com/event/events-tickets-demo/. You can install The Events Calendar and Event Tickets free plugins yourself, and then you can test with all the browsers you want. However, I’d say the front-end display of the tickets form is pretty simple so should work with most browsers.
For the permissions… If you’d like to edit the default capabilities (who can do what), you may choose to consider modifying the behavior via custom code or possibly via a plugin like User Role Editor (we cannot guarantee its compatibility but it generally considered a reliable plugin).
Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
I hope this info helps. Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

MemberHi, Elizabeth.
For the account you’re currently logged in to, I see you purchased Event Tickets Plus on November 14, 2016 (2 days ago).
I don’t see any prior WooTickets (legacy product) license on this account.
If your site has WooTickets installed already, please reference our Moving to Event Tickets Plus article and then let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

MemberHi Nicolas.
I’m unclear what issue you’re reporting.
Could you please provide a link where I can see the issue — and optionally also include a shortcode?

MemberYou’re welcome.
I can promise it won’t be at the front of the line 😉
But I can also say it’s definitely one we are eager to solve. I can safely say it’ll be months (at the earliest) before this functionality exists from us. That’s not to say you couldn’t custom code something for yourself.
If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.
Thanks again for sharing your request and adding your votes to those UserVoice threads!

MemberYou should probably just use tribe_get_events(), or at least you’ll need to filter the tribe_events_list shortcode’s use of it.
Our shortcodes really just run the respective widget’s code. In this case, the tribe_events_list shortcode runs the Advanced List Widget that comes with PRO, which adds some functionality to TEC core’s (non-Advanced) List Widget, which you can see the code for here: https://github.com/moderntribe/the-events-calendar/blob/4.3.2/src/Tribe/List_Widget.php#L104
I hope this helps!
Cliff
MemberThanks for all those details.
Can you replicate the issue if you’re logged in as the administrator? For example, login, submit your own event via CE form, see if the event gets created and if you get the email notification(s).
If not, please create yourself a regular (non-administrator) user account and try from that account too.
Let me know what you find out.
