ParticipantHi!
I am receiving notification of events by email that have been added to the site but when I go to review the event only one of them is there and the others have completely disappeared? So the review link takes you to the same event every time and the other events that were submitted are no longer there for the person to add or submit again? Very strange but I can’t keep asking people to start from scratch each time to submit their event again!

MemberHi Nicky. That is odd.
So are you saying there’s a bug with the email itself or that the events never actually got created?
Do you have any screenshots to share that might help here?
Please share your full System Information Report (I see a partial one came through). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose this.

Description
Many songwriters have shown themselves to be magnificent wordsmiths, and those whose tunes have that swinging jazzy feel have heard them interpreted by some of the great voices in popular music – think Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Sarah Vaughan, through to more recent singers like Norah Jones, Madeleine Peyroux and Corrine Rae Bailey, and a few blokes, too! Dirty Bizness make it their business to bring you some of those songs in their own swingingjazzybluesy style. They HAVE got rhythm; get them under your skin. DOORS OPEN: 7.30pm. The friendly volunteer York House bar staff will be pleased to serve you real ale, wines, and soft drinks – the proceeds from which go to York House. TICKETS will be available locally and on-line in January, but for more information mailto:[email protected]. More information on the York House website: http://www.york-house.org.uk nearer the time.

Enjoy a snifter at the York House bar – the proceeds from which go to York House, enabling us to provide the room for free. TICKETS will be available locally in January as well as at the door or perchance by email: mailto:[email protected] . More information on the York House website: http://www.york-house.org.uk nearer the time.

Review Event (this link took me to the other event called Swinging Songwriters and this event is nowhere to be found!! The person who submitted it can’t see it either)November 16, 2016 at 9:08 am #1193281Cliff
MemberThanks for all those details.
Can you replicate the issue if you’re logged in as the administrator? For example, login, submit your own event via CE form, see if the event gets created and if you get the email notification(s).
If not, please create yourself a regular (non-administrator) user account and try from that account too.
Let me know what you find out.

ParticipantI’ve just tested and the same thing happens to me! I submitted 2 events and only the second one is showing? The Review link for the first event takes me to the 2nd one?!

ParticipantJust to add…the image is still there on the system that was uploaded for the event that has now disappeared!

MemberSorry to keep asking follow-up questions, but I’m trying to nail down what steps it’d take to try to reproduce this behavior.
So if you created 2 events in CE form under a single non-administrator account, only the 2nd event is really there (even though the featured image upload from the first remains in the Media Library).
What if you create a 3rd as this user? Does the 2nd event go away (except for its uploaded image) — and so on for 4th, 5th, 6th “deleting” its previous event?
If you create an event in User A’s account, then change to be logged in as User B and create a new event via CE, does User B’s first event delete User A’s first event — or is it only within each user account?
Finally, are you sure you don’t have any custom coding tied to event creation, modification, Community Events customizations, etc? These could be installed as custom plugins or in your theme’s functions.php file.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
