The only place to find the changelog is in the plugin folder’s readme.txt

When there’s an update available for it in wp-admin, it should also have a message about what’s new.

You can also reference our Release Notes blog posts.

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

I’m glad this was in the right direction for you. 🙂

You’ll need to test out how things work to see if all parts of it are to your liking (e.g. the Attendee Report question — which should be “yes”).

You could request your ideal setup as a new feature (or maybe search to see if the idea was already posted by someone else) at our plugins’ UserVoice page.

This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.

If you post it / find it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.

Hi, Josh. You posted in our Pre-Sales forum from a user account that doesn’t have any purchases associated with it.

We don’t answer support questions for The Events Calendar core/free or Event Tickets core/free or their paid add-ons in the Pre-Sales forum.

If you made your purchase(s) through a different user account, please login to that account and then post in one of the paid forums.

Thank you for your understanding and thank you for using our plugins.

P.S. No, this isn’t a known issue, and I’d suggest our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Sixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

    Hi, ADodd.

You can override the email that gets sent via our Themer’s Guide for this file: https://github.com/moderntribe/event-tickets/blob/4.3.3/src/views/tickets/email.php

And here’s more information about ET and ET+…

Event Tickets Plus (ET+) is our paid add-on plugin that upgrades the functionality of our free Event Tickets (ET) plugin.

Event Tickets Plus enables you to sell tickets via one of our supported eCommerce platforms. The free plugin only enables free RSVP-type tickets.

You can view our roundup/comparison of all the eCommerce plugins ET+ supports.

Our plugin uses your eCommerce plugin of choice, but your eCommerce plugin isn’t displayed for shopping pages. Please reference our Making Tickets KB article (screenshots are from an install using WooCommerce) for an idea how to create tickets for an event.

Site visitors would purchase tickets from each event’s single page/view (e.g. http://wpshindig.com/event/events-tickets-demo/) — if there is an RSVP to submit or ticket to purchase.

The order confirmation email will include a QR code that can be scanned to “check in” someone at the door at the time of the event. You can read more at Tickets: Managing your orders and attendees.

If your tickets will be free, you don’t need QR code check-in, and you don’t need to collect additional information other than name and email address, you likely could just use the free/core Event Tickets plugin.

Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.

I hope this info helps. Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

    Hi, Ben.

    Thanks for your thorough report.

Could you please provide us a copy of the latest version of the Themify Builder plugin for us to try to replicate on a fresh install with Twenty Sixteen theme?

You can upload to Dropbox (or an alternative) and provide a Private Reply link here if you’d like.

    Thank you.

    Hi. Thanks for the links.

I see those 2 events both have the same Venue. Therefore, please check these settings for the event that is not showing the map to see if they’re different than the other event’s settings for Google Map display.

Please let me know what you find out.

    Thank you.

    Hi, Matt.

Sorry you’re experiencing this known bug. Hopefully it’ll be fixed soon.

I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to code it, test it, and schedule it for release.

I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

Hi, Anthony. Sorry you’re experiencing this.

I wasn’t able to reproduce this for RSVP or WooCommerce ticket types, and this isn’t currently a known issue so I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:

There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?

Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.

If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Sixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.

Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.

You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)

Let us know what you find out.

    Thanks.

    Hi, Hal.

Thanks for your interest in our PRO add-on for The Events Calendar.

We don’t have any integration with Visual Composer or any other page builders.

Please do add your vote to this existing feature request: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/6854801-create-a-visual-composer-extension

This allows us to gauge interest in this particular feature request, which helps us prioritize our development efforts.

Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.

Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

    Hi. Thanks for your question.

I’m not sure I perfectly understand your question, but here is an idea:

You could use this The Events Calendar Widget Areas plugin, and then you could use one of our plugin’s widgets there, such as the Mini Calendar widget.

As far as visibility on mobile, that would be something we wouldn’t be able to help with, since each theme and combination of plugins could be different. It shouldn’t be difficult to pull off though.

Please let me know if this works well for you.

    Thanks.

Hi. Thanks for your detailed question.

    The short answer is, “Nope.”

The only place to see the current version of Filter Bar is to login to https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/ while you have an active license for Filter Bar.

    I hope this information helps.

P.S. What you’re asking for isn’t currently available, but if you had the zip code, city name, or something else from the user’s profile, you could redirect their visit to http://wpshindig.com/events/ to the URL that the Tribe Bar generates for that city, such as this for Dallas, TX: http://wpshindig.com/events/month/?tribe-bar-geoloc-lat=32.7766642&tribe-bar-geoloc-lng=-96.79698789999998&tribe-bar-geoloc=Dallas%2C+TX%2C+USA

I understand having a timeframe can help you plan how to deal with this issue.

While it’s not helpful for me to guess at it, I can tell you that it’s the type of bug that should probably get some decent attention to be fixed (because events are not showing up!)

You should also reference our Release Schedule information page to get a feel for how we do fixes. Basically, nothing is ever fixed in “days” unless it’s so big it deserves its own separate release, which we call a “hotfix”.

Therefore, my best guess is either sometime before the end of the year or maybe in January 2017 or later. Again, I have no concrete information to go off of; I’m just sharing that I’m fairly certain it won’t be within 2 weeks and it might be as soon as end of January 2017 (but I can’t promise anything).

I’m not exactly sure which version this bug was introduced in, but you might want to downgrade to a previous version if this is mission-critical for you.

    Thanks for understanding.

Thanks for the update, Diane, and sorry for the lost time and effort here. I know that’s never fun.

Please note that threads get Closed automatically after a couple weeks of inactivity. If it does get Closed, please open a new thread, adding your current problem description and also linking back to this thread.

    Thank you!
