    Hi, Marc.

If I’m understanding your current question, you could use is_post_type_archive() to detect if you’re on one of our calendar views, like this:

    is_post_type_archive( Tribe__Events__Main::POSTTYPE )

Before you try that though, you might want to try wp-admin > Events > Settings > Display tab > change the Events Template option and see if that helps without requiring custom code.

If you do need the custom code, there are other conditionals that you might wish to use, now or later, such as tribe_is_month()tribe_is_list_view(), etc.

Thanks for your business and for letting us know you got things sorted out.

Event Aggregator’s code is built-in to The Events Calendar; you just need to enter a license key to use the service (since our servers are what handle the data). It’s the only add-on like this at this time so that’s why its license key appears there and the others’ do not.

    Have a great weekend.

    Thank you.

I was able to replicate this issue on my local testing site with WooCommerce tickets.

I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.

I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

Several of our products are priced at $89. Sorry for any confusion.

I’ve refunded Order #1240181. Money should get back to you within a few days or so.

Please buy Community Events via this link to make sure you get to the right product.

Please let me know how this goes for you.

Thanks for your efforts troubleshooting and for those details.

Those odd-looking checkboxes are likely a CSS issue that we can help with if you provide the link to it.

The sidebar thing might be solved by going to wp-admin > Events > Settings > Display tab > change the page template setting.

Please let me know how this goes for you.

Community Tickets does this: “an online market place for event organizers to sell tickets online”

However, I’m not intimately familiar with Eventbrite to know exactly what “similar to Eventbrite” means, so I won’t liken any of our features to it.

The Events Calendar (TEC) (free) creates a calendar on your site.

Event Tickets (ET) (free) enables events to have RSVP tickets (non-paid tickets).

Event Tickets Plus (ET+) adds “paid tickets” functionality to Event Tickets and requires the use of an eCommerce plugin, such as WooCommerce, to process the actual money received.

Community Events enables registered site users and/or Anonymous users to create new events on your site’s calendar.

Community Tickets requires all those plugins to work because it adds ET+’s features (ability to sell paid tickets) to the Community Events form (where users can create/manage their created events). It also enables you to charge a fee per ticket your users sell.

For this setup, you’d want to consider the Community Manager Bundle or Ultimate Bundle.

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

    Gotcha.

Renewals only happen via the email we send about it or you can click the Renew button at https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/

Since that transaction is from so long ago, I’ve deactivated that license and added 15 months (bonus for early renewal? why not!) to the license that’s registered on your site.

Please do check your License Keys page and see if everything looks good to you.

    Thanks!

Our plugin doesn’t have any native language-switching ability.

Some of our functionality is compatible with WPML; however, to be honest, it hasn’t been as successful an integration as we would have liked. Therefore, at this time, I wouldn’t claim “works with WPML” because there are going to be parts that do not. The integration’s upkeep has been a bigger project than we realized, and it is important, but I do not want to give you a false promise.

To be clear, our WPML integration is likely to be significantly improved over time, and I believe there are technical improvements to be made to WPML as well.

We don’t claim integration with any other language plugins, but that doesn’t mean they wouldn’t or couldn’t work.

You could search through our plugins’ UserVoice feature requests to possibly find more requests about this.

Oh, actually, I believe this known bug might be your issue:

    • set Default status for submitted events to Draft
    • set Edit their submissions to checked
    • Video of the issue: https://cl.ly/0P1l1z0b0y47

Please confirm if this is exactly your bug too.

    Thank you.

Hi. I believe I saw one other use report this issue. However, we were not able to replicate this.

Since this isn’t currently a known issue so I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:

There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?

Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.

If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Sixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.

Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.

You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)

Let us know what you find out.

    Thanks.

    Hi, Mark.

I see you purchased 2 separate PRO licenses, one that expires on March 4, and one that expires on July 28, both in 2017.

Is this correct (e.g. you do have 2 different sites using PRO)?

If yes, please provide the order# you’re referring to that shows we received a renewal for you, then we’ll research a little further.

    Thank you.

    Hi, Bernard.

I’m unclear exactly what functionality you’re looking for, but maybe our Community Tickets add-on (which requires other add-ons) is what you’re looking for.

We also have Bundles available for purchase.

Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.

I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

    Hi, Dan.

Thanks for your interest in our plugin suite.

It sounds like you can accomplish what you’re wanting with our free The Events Calendar and Event Tickets plugins.

I’d suggest trying those out and then, if you need some of Events Calendar PRO‘s features, then you can buy it (or our other add-ons, e.g. Event Tickets Plus) if needed.

Event Tickets Plus is our paid add-on plugin that upgrades the functionality of our free Event Tickets plugin.

Event Tickets Plus enables you to sell tickets via one of our supported eCommerce platforms. The free plugin only enables free RSVP-type tickets.

You can view our roundup/comparison of all the eCommerce plugins ET+ supports.

Our plugin uses your eCommerce plugin of choice, but your eCommerce plugin isn’t displayed for shopping pages. Please reference our Making Tickets KB article (screenshots are from an install using WooCommerce) for an idea how to create tickets for an event.

Site visitors would purchase tickets from each event’s single page/view (e.g. example.com/events/rogers-day-at-the-zoo/) — if there is an RSVP to submit or ticket to purchase.

The order confirmation email will include a QR code that can be scanned to “check in” someone at the door at the time of the event. You can read more at Tickets: Managing your orders and attendees.

It doesn’t sound like you’d need that functionality, but maybe you will.

    ===

In conclusion, you should give Event Tickets’ RSVP tickets a try; you could have a “volunteer” ticket type and an “attendee” ticket type if you want that too.

    ===

We do offer nonprofit discounts, but I’m unsure if we provide it for churches. There are different staff members who administer that program.

    ===

Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.

I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

Hi. Sorry to hear this happened for you!

If you’re just using The Events Calendar and not Event Tickets, your database would likely have posts of these three custom post types:

    • tribe_events
    • tribe_venue
    • tribe_organizer

Then there’s the postmeta that’s associated with each of those post IDs.

We can’t really assist further here, but I hope this gets you headed in the right direction.

    Hi, Petra.

You posted in our Pre-Sales forum from a user account that doesn’t have any purchases associated with it.

We don’t answer support questions for The Events Calendar core/free or Event Tickets core/free or their paid add-ons in the Pre-Sales forum.

If you made your purchase(s) through a different user account, please login to that account and then post in one of the paid forums.

Thank you for your understanding and thank you for using our plugins.

    Possibly helpful references:

We ensure compatibility with WordPress default themes like Twenty Sixteen, Twenty Seventeen, etc. Other than that, we typically state that our stuff works with any theme that follows WP’s best practices. There are also other themes that either state they’re compatible (their claim, not ours) and some even have specific integrations and custom views for our plugin’s pages. You can find some of these at ThemeForest.net.

    I hope this helps!
