MemberLane,
Community Events (CE) is at version 4.4.2 as well. However, it isn’t showing at your https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/ link because your license for it expired in July 2016. You can click the “Renew” button at https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/. Once you have an active license, you’ll see CE v4.4.2 available.

MemberInteresting. Maybe try deleting The Events Calendar and then re-install a fresh copy from wp-admin > Plugins > Add New.
Deleting The Events Calendar or its add-on plugins will NOT delete any of your data if you delete it via the WordPress plugin manager because that’s how we’ve decided to code our plugin.
FYI: deleting any plugin via FTP or cPanel’s File Manager (i.e. deleting just the files from the server) will also ensure a plugin gets deleted (if you delete the entire plugin folder) without removing any data from the database. This can sometimes be helpful to know in cases where a plugin does run an uninstall routine to delete data (again, our plugins do not run such a routine at this time and probably never will).
You can also see the difference when you click to delete a plugin, like this.

MemberMaybe it’s that you’re not logged in?
The scanning requires the scanner to be logged in to avoid just anyone getting hold of the link and accidentally or purposefully/maliciously marking someone as checked-in.
So, to check someone in via QR code:
- login to WordPress in the browser that the QR scanner will use (e.g. its own browser, Safari, Chrome, etc)
- scan the QR code
FYI: I believe you have to be logged in as an Editor or higher (I believe it requires ‘edit_pages’ capability).
Please let me know if this clears things up for you. I haven’t seen others reporting this issue so hopefully it does.

MemberGlad to hear it.
If you need help along the way, please do create a new support thread, one for each separate question.
Have a great day!
Cliff
MemberI understand. Our release cycle fixes bugs regularly, but newly-discovered bugs take some time to get scheduled, which is why I wouldn’t expect a fix for several weeks at the earliest.
The development team is aware of its importance to you.
You might also want to refer to our https://theeventscalendar.com/release-schedule/
Cliff
MemberExcellent! Thanks for letting me know that worked well for you.

Member- Yes
- You could create your own links on your homepage, like a computer mouse icon that links to http://wpshindig.com/events/category/tech-meetups/, and a book icon that links to http://wpshindig.com/events/category/learning/, etc
- All event creation/editing is done via the Community Events form, which is at yoursite-com/events/community/add/ by default — but, yes, this sounds like Community Tickets’ functionality
- There are quite a few third-party plugins for our plugin suite, such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar-category-colors/, https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicate-tec-event/, https://wordpress.org/plugins/tk-event-weather/ (shameless self-promotion of my own non-Modern Tribe plugin), https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar-pro-alarm/, https://shop.opentuteplus.com/product/buddypress-events-calendar-plugin/, and more…
We also have our own Extension Library, each one being installed as a separate WordPress plugin.
Therefore, yes, it’s possible to create your own plugin that interacts with our plugin suite, but we do not currently have a marketplace for you to sell your own creation at. Nor should such a thing be expected to come soon, if ever.
I hope this helps answer your questions.
Again, we have a pretty good refund policy (see my initial reply for a link).
Thanks!

I see you’re all squared away so I’ll close this thread.

MemberOh, and here’s some CSS to fix it on your staging site while we await a fix:
body.post-type-archive-tribe_events .tribe-events-list .tribe-events-loop .tribe-events-event-image { width: 30%; } body.post-type-archive-tribe_events .tribe-events-list .tribe-events-event-image + div.tribe-events-content { width: 67%; } body.post-type-archive-tribe_events .tribe-events-loop .tribe-events-content { padding-right: 0%; }February 18, 2017 at 11:01 am in reply to: Update caused the images in list view not to wrap (float:left;) #1241200Cliff
MemberThanks for your detailed question.
The issue is that the image getting a width of 30% got lost in the CSS. Other CSS issues happened too.
I’ve logged this bug internally, and I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

MemberHi.
I think you meant, “…suggested that we purchase Event Tickets Plus with business license…”, since that’s what I see that you purchased.
I’ve refunded Order #1240772. Money should be back to you within a few days. (Oddly, it looks like this was a purchase for an Upgrade from Personal to Business, but you didn’t first have an order for Personal, at least tied to the “oursacredspace” search term I used).
You can view your Orders at https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/
And you can now purchase Events Calendar PRO if that’s what you need.
Please let me know if I can help with anything else regarding your account.
