    Hi there,

I am looking at purchasing your plugin.

I would like to know if i can run calendars for multiple countries on the one site.

The website will have a landing page in which users will be able to choose which country they would like to view events in.

    1. Do i need to buy seperate licences for each country’s calendar?

    2. If so, is it possible to host multpiple calendar plugins on the one host?

Also lets say we streamline the calendar to include all country’s events.

    3. Are we able to have navigational titles within the calendar, for example on the 15 of February 2017, there are entries from Australia, Canada, USA, England in which users can select that country and then have their events displayed?

Lets also say my user base increases exponentially and i need to start categorising lets say states within a country. Are we able to create hyperlinks for certain states in certain countries that will take you to the specified states/countries calendar? Does this mean we need to run multiple calendars for all countries/states?

I bsaically want to just run the one calendar for the whole world, but also want it to be organised and categorised making it easier for users to navigate to their country/state and i want it to be future proof so i dont have to re-design the whole website once it has a heap of users browsing on it every day.

Kind Regards and appreciate the help in advance.

    Hi, Joe.

Thanks for your interest in our plugin suite.

It sounds like you’re exactly asking for our Filter Bar add-on, which has country and state/region filtering already built in!

Also, our free/core The Events Calendar plugin creates one master calendar, but you can create the appearance of multiple calendars by using Event Categories.

    Examples:

There are additional methods and documentation at our Can You Have Multiple Calendars? KB article.

With Filter Bar (screenshot of its settings), it can generate links for you to bookmark if you want, like http://your-site-com/events/?tribe_state=975

You could make note of that URL and then, on your homepage or elsewhere, build your own menu or buttons to let them select the State they live in (or country, etc)

Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.

I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

    Thanks for the info 🙂

    I do have another questions.

Because the calendar will be in multiple languages, are we able to offer a toggle hyperlink and have the calendar change languages?

Our plugin doesn’t have any native language-switching ability.

Some of our functionality is compatible with WPML; however, to be honest, it hasn’t been as successful an integration as we would have liked. Therefore, at this time, I wouldn’t claim “works with WPML” because there are going to be parts that do not. The integration’s upkeep has been a bigger project than we realized, and it is important, but I do not want to give you a false promise.

To be clear, our WPML integration is likely to be significantly improved over time, and I believe there are technical improvements to be made to WPML as well.

We don’t claim integration with any other language plugins, but that doesn’t mean they wouldn’t or couldn’t work.

You could search through our plugins’ UserVoice feature requests to possibly find more requests about this.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
