Hildegard, please create your own separate thread and include a link to one of your events.

Olaf, please let me know how you’re getting along.

Frank, this hasn’t been resolved yet. Once it is resolved, this thread should receive an update. At this time, I do not have any idea what timeframe to expect the fix in.

However, if you’d like, you might try coding the fix yourself. (Directly editing the plugin’s files is usually not advisable but is unavoidable for this temporary situation.)

I’ve been told this might be the solution for such a fix for v4.4.2 of Event Tickets Plus: replace Line 222 of /wp-content/plugins/event-tickets-plus/src/Tribe/Meta/Field/Abstract_Field.php with something that loads from your theme directory instead, if the override file exists.

    Sorry again about this bug.

    Hi, Lars.

    Sorry you’re experiencing these issues.

In our forums we keep our threads focused on just one issue at a time to ensure we fully answer each of your questions/issues. Please keep this in mind for the future and start a new thread for your additional questions from this thread. Thanks for your understanding, and I’ll answer only your first question.

Could you please clarify what you mean by “only the first”–only the first of what?

Are you using the CSV importer / Event Aggregator or maybe the Community Events form?

    Hi, Charles.

Thanks for your interest in our plugin suite.

It sounds like you’re wanting our Community Events add-on. Example from our demo site: http://wpshindig.com/events/community/add

Also, our Events Calendar PRO add-on provides quite a few features, including each Venue having its own list of upcoming events. Example from our demo site: http://wpshindig.com/venue/zoosk/

Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.

I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

    Hi, Pim.

    Thanks for your question.

I appreciate your question and the desire to customize it for your use. However, we cannot provide such in-depth customization help, per our Scope of Support / Terms.

To answer your question, yes, it’s possible with custom coding. I can point you to tribe_events_has_soldout() and other functions available to you in this file: /wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/src/template-tags/tickets.php

You might also want to refer to our Themer’s Guide.

If there’s a code snippet you’d like me to put some eyes on or something else I can help you with, please update this ticket or create a new ticket if it’s a separate issue.

Thank you very much for your understanding.

If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.

    Hi, Michael.

    Sorry you’re experiencing this.

Could you please confirm if the Attendee Meta Information is or is not actually in the Attendees Report (before you click to export to CSV)?

Please also share your System Information and tell me who your web host is. That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.

    Hi, Benjamin.

/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/src/views/community/modules/image.php is the module loaded by Line 58 of /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/src/views/community/edit-event.php

You could use our Themer’s Guide to customize the edit-event.php file to your liking (e.g. remove loading of that image.php module)

You could also add code there to use WordPress’ native media library.

If you do wish to custom code this, you might benefit from referencing https://code.tutsplus.com/articles/how-to-integrate-the-wordpress-media-uploader-in-theme-and-plugin-options–wp-26052 (not written or guaranteed by us).

I believe you’re requesting the same thing as one of our existing feature requests: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/5620219-community-events-native-image-file-uploader-on-s

Please do add your vote there.

This allows us to gauge interest in this particular feature request, which helps us prioritize our development efforts.

    Thank you.

    Hi, Titus.

Our plugins do not have any native integration for BuddyPress.

However, I’m aware that https://shop.opentuteplus.com/product/buddypress-events-calendar-plugin/ exists (third-party, not guaranteed or supported by us).

Let me know if you think there’s more I might be able to help with here.

    Hi, Andrea.

The email content is generated from /wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/src/views/tickets/email.php

I’d suggest you look there or search /wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/src/Tribe/RSVP.php for “wp_mail” to point you in the right direction.

If you can’t figure it out, please link me to an event on your site where this is happening and provide any screenshots or video screen captures that you think may be helpful.

    Thank you.

    Hi, Julius.

I’d suggest visiting your https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/ page and remove your old site and then try re-saving your license key in your new site’s settings.

If you can enter the key but it won’t “stick/stay” saved in your site’s settings, this isn’t currently a known issue so I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:

There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?

Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.

If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.

Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.

You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)

Let us know what you find out.

    Thanks.

in reply to: Can I bulk email attendees in Event Ticket Plus? #1248138

    Hi, Lora.

Thanks for your interest in Event Tickets Plus (ET+), our paid add-on plugin that upgrades the functionality of our free Event Tickets (ET) plugin.

Event Tickets Plus enables you to sell tickets via one of our supported eCommerce platforms. The free plugin only enables free RSVP-type tickets.

You can view our roundup/comparison of all the eCommerce plugins ET+ supports.

Our plugin uses your eCommerce plugin of choice, but your eCommerce plugin isn’t displayed for shopping pages. Please reference our Making Tickets KB article (screenshots are from an install using WooCommerce) for an idea how to create tickets for an event.

Site visitors would purchase tickets from each event’s single page/view (e.g. http://wpshindig.com/event/events-tickets-demo/) — if there is an RSVP to submit or ticket to purchase.

The order confirmation email will include a QR code that can be scanned to “check in” someone at the door at the time of the event. It could be displayed on their mobile device or they could print it like any other email. You can read more at Tickets: Managing your orders and attendees.

If your tickets will be free, you don’t need QR code check-in, and you don’t need to collect additional information other than name and email address, you likely could just use the free/core Event Tickets plugin.

    ===

So, whether or not you’re using ET or ET+, there isn’t a way to communicate with the attendees in bulk directly from our plugins’ functionality.

However, we do have Export to CSV functionality.

You could request what you want as a new feature (or maybe search to see if the idea was already posted by someone else) at our plugins’ UserVoice page.

This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.

If you post it / find it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.

Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.

I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

in reply to: Still Having Problems Importing ICS into Outlook #1248123

Hi, Dan. Sorry you’re having to deal with this.

There are outstanding bug reports internally about Outlook not being able to digest our iCal feed. Here are all the open issues that may apply to your situation:

    1. iCal/.ics export cannot be imported into Outlook (possibly related to “TZID” in the iCal file)
    2. Investigate removing X-WR-CALNAME to make ICS export Outlook compatible
    3. iCal export prevents Outlook from displaying correct time during DST (Outlook will display the incorrect time when Daylight Saving Time is in effect)
    4. Multi-day all-day events, when iCal exported, end one day earlier when imported to Outlook / Thunderbird

Please let me know which one(s) you think is most applicable to your issue and I’ll add this forum thread to that internal bug report.
