Jason, I don’t think email would work for uploading a large attachment.

Please instead upload the video(s) to something like Dropbox, Google Drive, CloudApp, or another service. Then, you can post a reply here, but you’ll probably want to send it as a Private Reply.

    Looking forward to it…

Robert, when using non-multisite licenses, could you verify if you are logged in as a Super Admin?

Please also confirm if you do or do not see the update notifications — and if you do see them, do they then just fail?

Robert, there are network-level settings for the licenses at wp-admin > Network > Settings > Events Settings > Licenses tab (/wp-admin/network/settings.php?page=tribe-common&tab=licenses)

The price for a multisite license is viewable at each product page (e.g. $200/yr more than PRO’s Business license). However, since I issued you temporary keys, you should be able to click “Renew” at each one from https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/

Regardless, I have brought up the issue again for discussion and will let you know if there’s any progress expected in the near-term.

    Great feedback!

    1. I added the ability to disable it via the tribe_ext_ce_cost_currency_symbol_position_enabled filter, but I guess I could add a checkbox to more easily disable it. I wasn’t sure anyone would want it disabled at all.
    2. I understand the idea of displaying the symbol “inline” with the cost field, but I think it could be confusing for users if the symbol goes in front by default. For example “$ <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>cost</span>” vs “<span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>cost</span> $”. I can see the pros and cons of each but think I’ll leave it as-is. You might be able to add some CSS or JS to move it around if you wish… or fork the extension and come up with your own separate plugin to do something slightly different with it.
    3. The “x” in the drop-down is to clear out the current selection. Therefore, if it displays “$ x”, click the “x” to set it to “” (blank). It’s just part of Select2’s drop-downs.

I’m glad its functionality should work for you! Thanks for bringing up the issue of this missing from the new version of the Community Events form. FYI: The Google Maps checkboxes for the Venues will be coming back as a separate extension as well.

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic prior to this extension’s release.

Thanks for that information. That is a very low number of events, organizers, and venues. We’ve seen sites with tens of thousands (although they typically require some performance tuning or upgraded servers).

I’m guessing your database size is caused by other issues. Could you please:

    1. Install and activate Query Monitor
    2. Send us wp-admin Administrator credentials to your site in a Private Reply, just for us to take a look; we won’t make any changes.

Also, please explain your reasoning behind this statement:

This table contains more than 15 millions rows… And all this data is created for the events we are publishing on our website.

What makes you think 15 million rows were created by the events you’re publishing when you only have 183 of our posts (events, organizers, and venues)?

Our plugin uses the postmeta table in a pretty direct relation to the posts table. In other words, there are typically about 20-ish records added to the postmeta table for each post we add. Therefore, if our plugins added only 183 posts, 15 million postmeta is really, really unexpected.

Can I ask… was it this snippet that you thought worked for you but then didn’t? Or was it something unrelated?

Sorry things didn’t work out for you, Thierry.

Please submit the Refund Request Form and link back to this thread for reference.

Have a good rest of your week.

Hi, Nathalie. Sorry you’re experiencing this.

I’m unclear exactly what you mean by “turn out of time”, but this isn’t currently a known issue so I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:

There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?

Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.

If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups before modifying anything on your site.

If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG (which will create a file on your server at /wp-content/debug.log if there are any WP_DEBUG messages) and share any debug messages you see while trying to replicate this issue and doing other things on your site relevant to this ticket (such as visiting your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and anything else you can think to do).

Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode) in a Private Reply. That will give me a lot of extra information to help troubleshoot this.

You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)

Let us know what you find out.

    Thanks.

    Hi, Lucy.

    Nope, this shouldn’t be happening…

Please post to our free support forum for The Events Calendar (for bug reports and users helping each other — no usage support provided by us).

There, please share an annotated screenshot, screen capture video, and/or relevant URLs to clarify exactly what’s happening here.

    Thank you!

    Hi, Linda.

Please try out this upcoming extension: https://theeventscalendar.com/content/uploads/2016/12/tribe-ext-calendar-widget-areas.zip

Please let me know how this goes for you, and please do try to “break it” since it’s not fully released yet (I’m expecting 1-2 weeks).

    Thanks!

Hi. Thanks for your detailed question.

By default, the Woo Tickets are hidden from the product store. You should see this on all your ticket products: https://cl.ly/3B2c0B3j2A0v

If you don’t, are you manually overriding this, possibly via a custom code snippet?

Thanks for the quick reply, Mark.

I hope the project is a long-term success.
