In our forums we keep our threads focused on just one issue at a time to ensure we fully answer each of your questions/issues. Please keep this in mind for the future. Thanks for your understanding.

    1) I’d recommend taking a look at this thread, where they manually created some links to search specific areas (e.g. Los Angeles). They generated these links (to copy/paste from) by using the Tribe Bar’s “Near” search.

    2) Please note that our forums don’t handle code well unless you wrap the snippet in the appropriate tags for code… or you could just share a link to it on gist.github.com

Anyway, it looks like you copied setup_date_search_in_bar() from /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/Main.php — but that’s not how to do this. It’s okay that you’re not a PHP expert, but I’ll again suggest referencing the list of customizers I shared before if you need such customizations.

However, I don’t think you need such code. We have this information regarding translations:

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

    Thanks for your effort here.

This system information report is not from when it was in Testing for Conflicts mode.

Please re-do that (deactivating plugins and switching theme) — and also re-save Permalinks settings after doing so — and then send me the system information report before re-activating plugins and theme.

    Thank you.

Again, focusing only on that first issue (please create a separate thread for your second issue)…

I tried to replicate this on my local testing site (although I had to add “/list” to my URL because my default view is Month): /events/list/?tribe-bar-geoloc-lat=34.0522342&tribe-bar-geoloc-lng=-118.2436849&tribe-bar-geoloc=los+angeles

Here’s a video of my testing with the latest versions of all our plugins (new updates from yesterday): https://cl.ly/070d0W3z1n46

I could not replicate this issue. Please test again after making sure you’re on the latest versions.

The Simply Show Hooks plugin is really helpful for answering this question; you might want to try it in the future.

For this specific ask, I modified the upcoming extension to be able to satisfy your request. Please download this latest (beta) version at https://theeventscalendar.com/content/uploads/2017/02/tribe-ext-calendar-widget-areas.zip

Please do provide feedback after testing it.

P.S. You might want to add your vote to this feature request for Beaver Builder compatibility: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/19000576-beaver-builder-compatibility-full-integration-so

Well that’s good, but please follow the rest of the steps I outlined and let me know how it goes for you–if you detect any conflicts or issues that may be causing the problem you’re experiencing.

Derek, since this is not currently a known issue, and because you have a lot of active plugins and a non-default WordPress theme, I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:

Please uncheck Allow Anonymous Submissions and then try loading the Community Events Add New form when logged out. Does it redirect to a login screen like it should?

Additionally, there might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?

Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.

If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups before modifying anything on your site.

Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode) in a Private Reply. That will give me a lot of extra information to help troubleshoot this.

Let us know what you find out.

    Thanks.

Hi, Liat. Thanks for sending that. I didn’t see anything unexpected (which is good in a way). Therefore, maybe there’s a plugin or theme conflict at play here.

Whenever there are 404s, it means these links are displayed somewhere on your site or in your sitemap. Maybe Yoast SEO’s or Jetpack’s sitemap is generating these according to the settings you input, or maybe your Permalink settings are affecting your URLs.

From your list of 404 links, I tested #365 by manually typing in http://www.kolhair.co.il/?p=365 and it took me to a different URL (a good thing — it’s likely recognizing an Event post), but it displayed these WP_DEBUG messages (coming from your theme): https://cl.ly/2I1R1Y1r3P0w

Here’s some information about it: WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG (which will create a file on your server at /wp-content/debug.log if there are any WP_DEBUG messages).

Please resolve all of the WP_DEBUG messages on your site (from all plugins and the theme) and then see if the issue is still happening for you.

If it is, please send me a screenshot of the wp-admin edit screen for Post ID 365.

    Thank you.

Well we’re aware of it, obviously! 🙂

As stated in my initial reply, this thread is attached to the internal bug/feature ticket regarding better performance for the Attendee Report (and therefore check-ins).

Thanks for your understanding and patience on this issue.

If you absolutely need this resolved before we’re able to release it and need some custom coding, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.

Michelle, thanks for your efforts troubleshooting.

I tested your Los Angeles link again and it worked for me on my desktop browser and my iPhone 7 Plus Safari browser. There’s no longer an admin-ajax.php console error happening, so I think you’re good.

Please confirm if you think this issue is resolved at this time.

To your second issue: in our forums we keep our threads focused on just one issue at a time to ensure we fully answer each of your questions/issues. Please keep this in mind for the future and start a new thread for your additional questions from this thread. FYI: here’s a video of my testing (confirming the Prev/Next links not working at your page): https://cl.ly/0A2C3M18303C — you should probably include this video (or your own if experiencing something different) in your new support thread.

Thanks and let me know if your first issue actually is resolved now.

I believe the issue is not at all with the scanner app/hardware you might use. Instead, the issue is that the wp-admin event’s Attendee Report can be slow to load, especially with many tickets sold for a particular event.

We have a bug ticket logged internally to work toward improving this, but it’s not a near-term fix.

I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.

I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

    Hi, Daniel.

We call this the Tribe Bar.

The Near search box comes from PRO: /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/Tribe/Geo_Loc.php and other files.

Unfortunately, each of your questions is in the customization realm. I think pointing you to look to PRO is about as much as I can help toward these questions.

Also, the “No results…” messaging is different per view (Month, List, etc.) and therefore would be a bit of a customization as well.

If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

Hi, Diego. You posted in our Pre-Sales forum from a user account that doesn’t have any purchases associated with it.

We don’t answer support questions for The Events Calendar core/free or Event Tickets core/free or their paid add-ons in the Pre-Sales forum.

If you made your purchase(s) through a different user account, please login to that account and then post in one of the paid forums.

Thank you for your understanding and thank you for using our plugins.

    Hi, Michelle.

Sorry to tell you this, but I visited that link and clicked on Los Angeles and it didn’t work on my Mac + Chrome desktop browser.

I noticed an error with Ajax in the consolehttps://cl.ly/3C1E0i023K1c

Yes, a plugin to create a new custom post type is likely what you’d need unless you want to write custom code.

The WP_DEBUG message you shared says it’s from Line 593 in the referenced file within the “cityguide” theme. You should report it to the theme developer.
