    Hi, Oliver.

    Thanks for reporting this.

Which would you expect to control which language the event imports as: your connected Facebook profile or your WordPress site’s language?

So, for example, if the Facebook event is in English, your site is set to German, and your personal Facebook profile (that’s connected to your WP site) has French set as its preferred language… which language would you expect the event to be imported as?

Once I know this information, I can present the idea to our development and strategy team for consideration.

Hi. Sorry you’re experiencing this long-outstanding bug. I know our developers are working on this issue, but I’m unsure when it might be ready for a release. (Also, we don’t provide ETAs.)

I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands.

I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

    Hi, Olivier.

    I visited http://www.umontpellier.fr/lieu/faculte-de-medecine-2-rue-ecole-de-medecine-montpellier/ and it’s a 404.

You can see a single venue page at our demo site: http://wpshindig.com/venue/green-dragon-bistro-brew-pub/

I’d guess the “2” and “3” URLs are if this venue has multiple pages of upcoming events. Is this correct?

If this is causing an issue for you, maybe the posts_per_page argument could be set to -1 (unlimited) whenever on a single venue page. This way, there won’t be any pagination added to the single venue page.

There are other ways to solve this, like your idea of fully deactivating single venue pages (only enabled when Events Calendar PRO is active).

Please let me know your thoughts.

    Hi, Gernot.

I see “July” instead of “Juli” but the rest of it looks correct. Is this what you’re seeing too?

And this Other Dates is likely from Avada theme, since it’s not displayed by default with a theme like Twenty Seventeen.

Therefore, please inquire to them about this text and let me know what you find out.

    Hi, Nicolas.

I see you’re using WooCommerce. WooCommerce will send its own receipt email that says your tickets will be sent in a separate email.

Please reference https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/woocommerce-specific-ticket-settings/ and let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

Hi, Paul. Thanks so much for your help here.

There have been quite a few reports of Aggregator’s scheduled imports not working, but the manual imports seem to be working just fine for people.

I also haven’t heard of the gray placeholder/fake images as displayed in your screenshot, nor have I heard of that specific debug error.

Therefore, I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:</span>

Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?

Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.

If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups before modifying anything on your site.

If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG (which will create a file on your server at /wp-content/debug.log if there are any WP_DEBUG messages) and share any debug messages you see while trying to replicate this issue and doing other things on your site relevant to this ticket (such as visiting your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and anything else you can think to do).

Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode) in a Private Reply. That will give me a lot of extra information to help troubleshoot this.

You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)

Let us know what you find out.

    Thanks.

Hi, Predrag. Sorry you’re experiencing this.

I haven’t ever heard of Zequester Pro theme. Please link to its about/purchase/demo page for my reference.

Also, general troubleshooting advice for this situation is to enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG (which will create a file on your server at /wp-content/debug.log if there are any WP_DEBUG messages) and share any debug messages you see while trying to replicate this issue and doing other things on your site relevant to this ticket (such as visiting your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and anything else you can think to do).

You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)

    Hi, Corinne.

That Mods/List_View.php file is the Tribe__Events__Pro__Templates__Mods__List_View class, the only use of which is Line 157 of /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/Tribe/Main.php

So if you’re wanting to customize that file, you’d actually want to unhook its usage on that tribe_events_list_before_the_content action hook and then add your own add_action on that hook.

To confirm, that file isn’t able to be overridden via child theme. Only files in the plugin-name/src/views directory are overridable via our Themer’s Guide. Each file that is overridable also has a comment in the top of the file that specifies that it’s overridable and in what location of your child theme to put it.

The easiest implementation of this might be via JavaScript, using https://www.w3schools.com/jsref/met_his_back.asp.

Please let me know how this goes for you.

Hi. Can you find this event in your wp-admin list of events (at /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=tribe_events)?

If yes, please send a screenshot of its wp-admin event edit screen so I can see its status (e.g. Published) and start/end times and Eventbrite details.

    Thank you.

Ah, sorry, but Community Tickets won’t work for Anonymous submissions.

Would you please provide me a wp-admin login that has permission to use the CE form?
