I am very frustrated with this product. We have just launched a website http://www.stswithuns.org.uk and in it there are sections such as Saints of the Day. Having uploaded over 300 posts I then went to set the recurring event to every year on same day. The event was set to an all day event. This update to the event then created 2 reccuring events in the db.
We had to change the permalinks to a more structured one so these were updated in wordpress and the post updated. However when we look for the post it takes us to a 404 page.
I have just gone through the whole lot and REMOVED any recurring event from it and now they show.I have also noticed other events that are showing the same problem so I will need to do the same to sort this
I have used some sql to dump the data in the category and I can see that there is still data in the fields event_reccurence ? should there be if I reset it to a single event for one day.
This is a serious issue for us as we need to be able to set recurring events properly so WHAT ARE WE DOING WRONG

July 17, 2017 at 7:43 pm #1322435CliffMemberHi, Chris. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
Regarding receiving a timely response, please reference our Scope of Support / Terms — basically that we do not work weekends.
I found http://www.stswithuns.org.uk/saint-of-the-day/ and it looks to be using the [tribe_events] shortcode.
Could you please provide a screenshot of your wp-admin post edit screen while in Text (not Visual) edit mode so I can see exactly what the content of this page is?
Also, do you have any link(s) to view this recurring events issue still happening elsewhere on your site? It doesn’t sound like a problem we’ve heard of before.
Could you also please clarify if you possibly are not even trying to use recurring events functionality but recurring events are still happening?

July 19, 2017 at 2:06 pm #1323566CliffMemberA Dropbox, Google Drive, or other file sharing service would work fine. Note that you might need to zip it to more easily share it.
