KeymasterHi, there.
Thanks for your interest in our plugin suite.
Our ticketing product doesn’t currently support PRO’s recurring events.
If you start to create a ticket for a recurring event, there will be a little question mark notice that reads:
Currently, tickets will only show up on the frontend once per full event. For PRO users this means the same ticket will appear across all events in the series. Please configure your events accordingly.
You should add your vote to this existing feature request for Event Tickets to support PRO’s recurring events.
Something some users are doing right now is using PRO’s recurring events to populate their events calendar but then breaking each occurrence from the series to turn them into single events — basically using PRO as an event generator but not actually using its recurring events functionality on the front-end. Others are just dealing with the tickets on recurring events even though you can’t then tell which occurrence they reserved the ticket for… use this information for your own reference but please don’t take it as any sort of recommendation.
I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
Thanks,

KeymasterHi there,
Thanks for emailing support.
The only workaround I am aware of is using a plugin like Simple 301 Redirects and creating a redirect to the outside website when you create the event. This plugin is not supported by us, basically, you can use any 301 redirect plugin of your choosing.
Let me know how that goes.

KeymasterHi there,
Thanks for getting in touch with us!
Wpshindig was set up to showcase the functionality of our plugins. Unfortunately, we do not have a design or layout tutorial to replicate this setup.
If you urgently need help with this, however, you may instead wish to consider working with a suitably skilled developer or designer who can offer the additional level of support you require.
Thanks and cheers,

KeymasterHi, there.
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. What is going on is that we currently do not truly support RSVP Tickets for recurring events.
As you have found out, at best, we can offer one set of tickets that is the same for all events. The good news is that we are working on that feature and are hoping to be able to release it later this year. Unfortunately, I do not have a date for that yet.
In the meantime, the only workaround is the following:
- Create your event series
- Use the “break event” from series on all the events in the series
- Create tickets for all of these individual events
This works because when you break an event from a series, they become single events.
I realize this is not great, but it should buy you some time.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!
Brendan

KeymasterHi there,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
You can change your Default Mobile View under Events Settings < Display to something else and see if that helps.
Let me know how that goes.

KeymasterHi there,
Thanks for emailing support.
We do not have an add-on feature to the original ticket, however, what I see a lot of people do is create an event ticket and then create subsequent tickets on the same event to add those additional options. For each add-on, you can ask for additional information specific to that portion of the event.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

KeymasterHi there,
Thanks for emailing support.
Is the event already in Eventbrite? Are you trying to import the event or send to Eventbrite?
Thanks,
BrendanBrendan
KeymasterHi there,
So the calendar view does look like its loading quite a few events so queries will take longer as expected. I also see you’ve already implemented decent caching options. Performance complaints are not uncommon but there’s a limit to what we can do within the current structure especially when displaying a large number of events.
I would suggest looking at a more powerful hosting solution based on the number of events. We do have a contact (Don Grover) who has solid experience in optimizing TEC sites for better performance, though of course, that would cost to get his help. Might be an option though if you would like his information.
Thanks,
BrendanBrendan
KeymasterHi there,
Glad that work.
For a long-term solution, you mentioned you can see the id cat value but it’s not in your WordPress. It could mean you can clean up transients to resolve this. Search for a transient cleanup plugin and see that is able to clean up the leftover code in the database.
Let me know how that goes.
Thanks,

KeymasterHi there,
Here is a direct link to the plugin zip file.

KeymasterHi there,
Thanks for getting in touch with us!
I think I answered your other custom dev request as well.
This essentially looks like a custom development task and so is outside of our stated scope of support.
With that being said, we’d love to help point you in the right direction.
We do need to prioritize support requests from other customers at this time but I’ll certainly flag this with the team and – although we can’t make any promises – if we have time and space to come back and help, we’ll be happy to do so. Please let us know if you’d like to go this route so that you can be added to this queue.
In the meantime, if there is any more information you can share (including mock-ups) that will help us to better understand what you are seeking please do feel free to add them to this ticket.
If you urgently need help with this, however, you may instead wish to consider working with a suitably skilled developer or designer who can offer the additional level of support you require.
