MemberHi Steve,
Sorry to hear that!
Do you mean the imported event contains no description, but the other details (the date, time etc) are present? Can you link by private reply if you prefer to some of the Facebook URLs you are importing from, so we can test on our side?
Thanks!

MemberHi Antonio!
Does the EC Pro version support early event?
I’m not completely sure what you mean by “early event”.. however, in answer to your other question: yes, it’s absolutely possible to create an event that recurs annually with Events Calendar PRO.
If you have any other questions please do let us know (though it would be great if you could post them in a new topic, to avoid confusion with questions posed by Kyle).
Thanks!

MemberApologies for the delay there, Kyle. To follow up:
1. So all transactions are handled by WooCommerce exclusively?
No – you can also use Easy Digital Downloads, as an example of another ecommerce plugin supported by Event Tickets Plus. However, at the present time you would require WooCommerce to take advantage of split payment functionality.
2. I’m assuming the community event system has a front end for client’s to manage their own ticketing setup and sales?
Yes, there is a frontend UI letting users submit events and potentially to edit them in future (if you allow this).
3. Am I right in thinking there is an application/barcode system for ticket scanning?
Event Tickets Plus does indeed support QR codes — you can learn more by reviewing the following knowledgebase article:
theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/managing-your-orders-and-attendees
I’ve had a look at the community events submission form and I see no way of creating recurring events. Doesn’t this require the calendar pro plugin?
That’s right! You need Events Calendar PRO to add recurring event support (which will also be available to users making submissions via the frontend).

MemberHi George,
The link you provided doesn’t seem to function any more, so I can’t check your site for myself, but my guess would be that what you were experiencing was simply the default behaviour of the calendar widget.
By design, it shows upcoming events in the current month by default. If, as an example, you have 5 events coming up later in June then – at time of writing – you would probably see all 5 listed below the widget by default.
As time moves along though, some of those events would drop off the list: on June 15, for instance, you’d only see those events taking place on or after that date.
Might that explain this?

MemberHi BDE GOKA,
Though we can point you in the right direction with helpful articles like the ones Geoff already shared, I’m afraid to say we can’t provide any further assistance for technical issues like this one here in the pre-sales forum (we’re mostly here to answer questions from prospective purchasers of Events Calendar PRO and our other premium plugins).
For help with technical questions, you can of course post on our premium forums (once you’ve purchased a license key) or you can seek help from our awesome community over on wordpress.org.
Thanks!

MemberHi Oliver,
We’re close but I’m afraid we can’t commit to a specific release date.
That said, you can access the pre-release builds for The Events Calendar, Events Calendar PRO and Community Events (for this work specifically you will need all three) on our downloads page 🙂

MemberHi George,
Unfortunately there has been a bit of a mis-step here and this topic was linked to a bug report concerning our JSON-LD output (hidden meta data intended to be read by search engines), rather than a “human-visible” issue which is what I think you are describing.
I’m assuming you’re still experiencing the problem – can you point me to a live example if you have one (I do see an upcoming event on June 2, however it doesn’t have a time so I’m taking it to be an all day event).
I wonder also if you are positioned to create a testing site, if you don’t have one, which can be as simple as a sub-directory installation of WordPress (ie example.com/test) and install only our plugins and nothing else – and see if you can replicate there?
This would just provide another way to troubleshoot, without impacting your live site.
Our apologies for the further delay on this one – but hopefully we’ll be able to reassess and get things on track.

MemberWe’re investigating this and fully understand everyone’s frustration. Like you, we want to resolve this as quickly as we can and are 100% appreciative of the help of everyone participating in the troubleshooting process — the information you provide can be genuinely useful to us.
On that note, Kim: did you have any other information you can share per Cliff’s last note?
For anyone else besides Kim, of course you should feel free to monitor this topic. If you have further questions or observations, though, or otherwise wish to have an individualized response, please do create a new topic of your own.

MemberI agree it’s replicable (and have logged a bug report accordingly). We’ll certainly do our best to update you as soon as the fix ships.

MemberHi Ryan,
I’m sorry to say we haven’t started work on this yet, due to a number of pieces of work that were of a higher priority.
This forum topic has been linked to our internal bug report, though, and we’ll be sure to update you once the fix ships.

MemberHi Doug,
Hi … this might be a silly question but I just wanted to confirm that I can utilize your calendar on a static website.
The Events Calendar and it’s related premium plugins are all designed to work within the WordPress environment.
So, you could do this if you are using WordPress within a custom toolchain that ultimately generates static HTML output, but it’s not really something our plugins have been designed to do (and, sadly, therefore would not be a usage that we could offer much support for).
Also, my client requires WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility compliance, I understand from some other posts that this may require some custom configuration from you. I’d be interested in finding out a cost on that, please let me know how I can do that. Thanks!
We can’t guarantee out-of-the-box WCAG 2.0 AA compliance, that’s true – though it should certainly be readily achievable with some customization work. This is not however a service we ourselves provide but you could certainly speak to a suitably qualified developer or agency for assistance with this, whether that is taking Jack up on his offer or consulting the folks listed on this page.
Thanks!
