KeymasterHi Jennifer,
Thanks for sharing that screenshot. That confirms it is the bug we are aware about and we are working on a fix. At the moment I don’t have any information on when that is going to be released.
The only workaround I can suggest at the moment is changing the venue details manually.
If the changes get overwritten with a new import, then setting the Event Update Authority to any of these:
- Do not re-import events. Changes made locally will be preserved
- Import events but preserve local changes to event field
The setting can be found under Events > Settings > Imports tab.
I am going to set the status of this ticket to “pending fix” and we will update it once the fix is released. I also hope it’s going to come soon.
If you have any new questions or issues please create a new ticket and we’ll help you out.
Thanks and cheers,
AndrasAndras
KeymasterI’m not sure what theme you are using. Does this also happen with a default theme like twentysixteen?
A.

KeymasterHi jdancu,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I’m sorry about this address issue you are experiencing.
This is likely a bug that we already know about and we are working on a fix.
I see the source data in your screenshot. Can you share another one that shows the result of the import?
Does this happen with move events?
Thanks and cheers,

KeymasterHi Cece,
Thanks for getting in touch with us!
I’m sorry to hear about the import issues. I can possibly help you with them.
events are disappearing from the Google calendar very mysteriously. I put them up and they just go away
This is beyond our control. Event Aggregator only has read access and it is not able to modify or delete any events from external calendars.
Do other people have access to the Google Calendar who might be deleting events?
In any case, probably a password change would be worth doing.
on July 17, there are 63 instances of a single event
I see. Does it look like that you get an extra event with every import?
You can try the following:
- Delete all those events from July 17 (they will be put on the ignored list)
- Go to the Ignored list and remove them from there as well
- Let the scheduled import run and import the event again
- Check if the duplication still happens with the next scheduled imports
I see that you have set up your scheduled import to run every hour. It might be worth considering to reduce that to daily if you do not really need the event list to be updated every hour. This can save resources and can help forego any glitches.
Let me know if the above helps.

KeymasterHi d2,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
With some customization that should be possible.
As per our support policy we are limited in providing support for customizations, but I can give you a few pointers.
That article and using the excerpts would be a good starting point.
You will probably need to make adjustments to how the schedule is displayed. That article also mentions the extra line for recurring events.
The schedule details can be modified using the following two filters:
- tribe_events_event_schedule_details_inner -> Provides an opportunity to modify the *inner* schedule details HTML (ie before it is wrapped)
- tribe_events_event_schedule_details -> Provides an opportunity to modify the schedule details HTML for a specific event after it has been wrapped in the before and after markup
With the help of these you should be able to either remove the “Recurring…” line or add a blank line to the non-recurring events.
Hope this helps you get started. Let me know if you have further questions.
Cheers,

KeymasterHello J,
Thanks for getting back in touch with us.
I was sad to read about your troubles and conflicts with all the plugins. I will do my best to help you resolve this.
Thank you for sharing all the details and the testing you have done.
If I understand correctly, there are several plugins that are causing some sort of a conflict and won’t let you edit your events. Do I get that correctly?
These plugins include:
- BNE Testimonials Pro
- EWWW image optimizer
- Rating-Widget: Star Review System (Premium)
- Yoast Premium
I see that 3 of these are premium versions. Unfortunately I do not have access to those.
You might have done this, but it is not clear from your post: did you test the conflicts with a default theme like twentysixteen? Also, did you test if the plugins separately cause issues?
What is the exact issue you are experiencing? Can you go to the event edit screen, or not even that? Do you get any error messages in the browser console (F12 or Ctrl + Shift + I on Chrome / Firefox, Option + Cmd + J on Safari Mac) when the page loads? Are fields disabled?
Screenshots or screen recordings of the issue can also help a lot!
I have installed the free versions of those 4 plugins and activated them. I didn’t experience any issues so far. If you can share with me copies of the premium versions I can test those as well.
Looking forward to helping you solve this.

KeymasterHi integrity,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry to hear about this issue with the paging. Let’s try to solve this.
I see that some of the plugins you use are a bit outdated. Please update at least the calendar plugins to the latest versions after creating a full backup of your site.
After the update, please check if the issue still exists.
If it’s still not working, I would like to ask you to run a conflict test based on this guide.
The guide says “Step 2) Re-enable your plugins one at a time, retest between each.” I see you have a lot of plugins and it would take very long. Instead of going one by one, you can do batches of 5 or 10 to speed it up.
Let me know what you find and we can go further from there.
Cheers,

KeymasterHello Jan,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I can think of 2 ways to get the events out from The Events Calendar.
You can do an iCal export. You can find the button on every calendar page that creates the ical feed for you.
Potentially this snippet would be useful for you, which will allow you to export the events for a custom date range:
https://gist.github.com/andrasguseo/b8e2739b11fdbd2d5ebacce23d862046
The other possibility would be using the REST API endpoint of The Events Calendar.
The endpoint URL looks like this: http://yourdomain.com/wp-json/tribe/events/v1/events
Here you can find an article that can help you get started with this:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/introduction-events-calendar-rest-api/
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions.

KeymasterHi multigp,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I’m sorry to hear about this issue on your site with Select2. I would love to help you solve it.
If would help us greatly if you could share some more details with us, so we can try to reproduce and dig deeper, so we can develop an appropriate fix.
Can you please share your system information with me?
If you disable the WooCommerce add-ons and leave WooCommerce and the calendar / ticketing plugins on, are you still hitting the same issue?
Can you share a URL where this issue is present? Are there any error messages appearing in your browser’s console that indicate this?
If there are steps needed to see this issue, can you share those as well?
If you can share some screenshots or a screen recording, that would be also very helpful.
Thanks and looking forward to helping you solve this.
Cheers,
AndrasAndras

KeymasterHi Shannon,
With some custom coding it would be possible to hide the old events and show only the future one, but eventually it would only be the tuned down functionality of the APM plugin without any options.
But I’m happy to hear that APM helped you have a better experience!
Since this is marked resolved I am going to close this ticket, but if you need anything else related to this topic or another please create a new ticket and we’ll be happy to help.

KeymasterOh, that’s a bummer.
Do you know when that happened? Was it after you changed the date format setting?
Temporarily you can try to increase the capacity of the ticket to make as many available as you need.
Could you share with you a full database dump? I would like to investigate this issue. Probably you will not be able to upload it here, so please upload it to a cloud service and share the url in a private reply.
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Michael,
Thanks for your ping!
I’m sorry for the disappointment. While we do try to fix as many bugs as possible, our resources are limited and we are not able to fix everything in the next release, or not even the one after that.
We are aware of the popularity of WPML and would like to have a seamless integration with it both the WPML plugins and our are quite complex in nature and there are frequent changes, which makes it difficult to provide 100% compatibility all the time.
We already started internal discussions on how we could provide a better experience, less bugs, and easier maintenance for our WPML users. We feel we are on the right track, but we will still need some time for the implementation.
Beside all that I just pinged the dev team on when some WPML fixes can be expected. I will let you know when I get a reply.
it has been october that we reported the translation issues
Which issues are you referring to that have been reported in October? I can look into that as well.
Cheers,
Andras -
