Several of my event co-ordinators would like to be able to know who on their team has registered for events.
The best option for this would be for them to receive an automated email with the current student registrations at the end of each day. I don’t believe this is available and since there are so many events it would be too burdensome for me to log in each day, and email 15 diff-50erent spreadsheets to each of them.
So, it would seem the next best option is for them to login and see for themselves. I would like them to have view-only access to the event section including order details. I have installed the Members plug-in as suggested.
My problem seems to be in setting the correct permissions…
The default Event-Admin role allows the user to see and edit all my other page content.
I would like only the event section to be visible in the dashboard and for them to have only read access to that.
When I give limited permissions with read only access, the dashboard no longer appears (only as if they were an end-user managing their own orders).Any direction on the correct permission that will enable
–> Events (but only events) shows up on admin dashboard
–> View access, without any editting abilities.Thanks very much,

KeymasterHi Jo-Anne,
Cloning the Author role would be a good start I believe. And from there you will probably need to remove some capabilities.
If you want to hide some elements from the dashboard, then probably the Adminimize plugin would be a good choice for that.
