KeymasterHello Erikk,
Hey, Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums!
I’m sorry you are having that issue with the images not being imported from Facebook.
We have recently found a bug that this happens when the Events Calendar Pro plugin is active. If you deactivate it for the time of the import, then the images should get imported.
Please try if that works for you now, as a workaround.
To give you further info, this is not going to stay like that. ๐ We have a bugticket on file for this with high priority, so a fix should arrive soon. I will add this thread as well to the ticket so it gets more push. Hang in there, the fix is coming.
Meanwhile please let me know if the workaround does the job for now.
Thanks and happy thanksgiving!
Cheers,

KeymasterHi Derek,
Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums!
Since you have EC Pro you can create additional fields that will show up. Go to Events > Settings > Additional Fields and set up the fields you want.
They will then automatically appear on the Submit Event page above the event cost.
Let me know if this helps.

KeymasterHola Maximiliano,
Thanks for going Pro and welcome to the forums! I’m sorry you are having an issue with the shortcode. Let me help you solve this.
As a first I would like to ask you to test for conflicts. You can follow this guide for that:
See it that turns up something. It could be that one of the plugins or the theme is interfering.
Let me know what you find out.

KeymasterHello lbethke,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry you are having this issue.
I also see that you are using outdated versions of our plugins. I would recommend that you update both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro. Numerous bugs have been fixed since the versions you are using.
I also recommend you to read this knowledgebase article, if you didn’t yet do so, which might help you solve the issue.
If after this you are still experiencing the issues when importing then please give me more details on what information you are missing from the events?
Also can you describe me what are the steps you are taking when importing the events from this file?
Thanks and cheers,
AndrasAndras
KeymasterHello David,
Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums!
I’m sorry about this issue with Community Events and thanks for reaching out! Let me try to help you with this.
In your system information I see that you have mismatching version numbers for our plugins. Please make sure that you update all of them to the latest versions and re-check if the issue still exists.
Let me know the result and we take it from there.

I will need to get an extra set of eyes for this. This can take some time as most of the team is out for thanksgiving. Please bear with me, while we check this out.

KeymasterHey Jim,
Wow, thanks for sharing that! Good find!
To get a clear view on this, so that I understand correctly: when you set up a recurring event that goes through a DST date, then the events before have the right time, while the events after are moved by one hour? Is this right?
Are you able to recreate this? If yes, what are the exact steps you are taking?
Also, please share with me the below two screenshots:
1. How is the timezone handling set up in The Events Calendar? You can find this under Events > Settings > General tab (looks like this: https://cloudup.com/cJxYQ0ulUVE)
2. How are the event timings / timezones set up for the individual events? (This section for the events in question: https://cloudup.com/chXmUKvZ1Oj)
Thanks in advance for sharing these. This could really help us move forward with solving this issue.

KeymasterHello Port,
Thanks for sharing that.
Did you manage to test for conflicts? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
I’ll try to get a developer to look into this, however due to most of the team out for thanksgiving, this might take couple of days. Please hang in there.

AndrasNovember 24, 2016 at 3:51 am in reply to: Can I map fields from an ical import to my event calendar? #1196940Andras
KeymasterHi Diane,
Thanks for sharing the feed. I checked it and it looks like there are some fields labelled ‘X-TRUMBA-CUSTOMFIELD’, and these get added to the event description.
Out of the box there is no was to match these filed with the ones in Events Calendar. It would need some custom development, which we are limited in supporting.
Here’s a list of developers who might be able to help you out with this:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/
It looks like Trumba is using a lot of custom fields and since they are custom they are not mapped to anything in Events Calendar. Also there is some ticket information in it, which complicates things as our core plugins don’t support pay-for tickets.
If you manage to remove the lines from the ics file that begin with ‘X-TRUMBA-CUSTOMFIELD’, then you should have a cleaner import afterwards. I know this requires a bit of extra work on your side, but as said, unfortunately we don’t have a solution for this yet.
If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.
I hope this clarifies it. Let me know if I can be of any more help.
Cheers,

KeymasterHi Philipp,

AndrasNovember 23, 2016 at 12:17 pm in reply to: Update to latest Divi messed up Events Calendar Display #1196698Andras
KeymasterHello Misty,
Hey, thanks for going Pro and welcome to the forums! I’m sorry you are having an issue with the Divi update and our plugin. Let me help you with that.
I need to ask you couple of questions in order to be able to help you.
- Please try if you see the calendar with a default theme like twentysixteen.
- Make sure that all your plugins – at least the calendar ones – are up to date.
- Could you please share your system information with me? Here’s how you can do that: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
- What Divi version were you updating from and to what version? (Divi is now bringing out new versions quite often.)
- Can you share with me a link to that page where the issue is happening? (Is it local on your computer or a test / staging site somewhere?) If you cannot share a link, could you please share a screenshot?
Once I have this information I can dig in a bit deeper.
Thanks and cheers,

KeymasterHello Samuel,
This is to let you know I started testing the issue. So far not good results unfortunately. We might be facing a bug.
I’ll test some more and I’ll get back to you soon.
Thanks for hanging in there.

KeymasterHello Derek,
Thanks for going Pro and welcome to the forums! I’m sorry you are having an issue with the calendar.
Could you please run a test for conflicts and check if that uncovers any issues? Here’s a guide how you can do that: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
Let me know the results.
Also, in case you are not aware, we have introduced new shortcodes as of version 4.3. Check them out, maybe they will be of better service that the widget shortcode. Here are some more details:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/
Looking forward to hearing from you.
