Problems using embeded calendar (photo view) and footer widget

HI!

I embeded a calendar with shortcode [tribe_events view=”photo” tribe-bar=”false”].
When I added a Widget to the footer, the view of the calendar rendered by the shortcode, display in a different way as it becames broken. The most notable difference ia that the images not display anymore.

Thanks for going Pro and welcome to the forums! I’m sorry you are having an issue with the shortcode. Let me help you solve this.

As a first I would like to ask you to test for conflicts. You can follow this guide for that:

Testing Conflicts With Themes and Other Plugins

See it that turns up something. It could be that one of the plugins or the theme is interfering.

Let me know what you find out.

Hi!
When We changed the Theme (we’re using Enfold, a very popular) to Fourteen the issue dissapear.
Could you give us any cue on how to resolve ir order to work fine with this Theme (ENFOLD: https://themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4519990)?

I have tested this with Enfold Version: 3.6.1 and couldn’t reproduce the issue.

This is what I did after activating the Enfold child theme:

• set up event with a featured image
• set up a page with the shortcode you shared above
• check page how it looks
• add Archives widget to footer column 1
• add Events Calendar widget to footer column 2
• check page how it looks

Before and after all the changes the pages looked the same.

This could be a theme issue, and in this case I would recommend you to contact the Enfold developers.

If you give me some more info, then I can try to help you find out the source of the issue:

• Write me the steps you took to create the issue
• what widgets did you add to the footer?
• make sure that when you enter the shortcode that you use straight quotes (“) and not curly quotes (”)

Also if you have a more fresh version of Enfold, could you please share with me so I can test it with that?
