So about a week ago our site which is running the main Events Calendar Pro, Events Calendar Filterbar, and Events Calendar Community Events — began totally bugging out and becoming inoperable.

After switching themes out and turning plug-ins off and on — I believe I traced the issue to the Events Calendar Community Events.

Also, the WordPress logs showed this error repeatedly:

Fatal Error: Cannot call overloaded function for non-object in /the-events-calendar-community-events/src/Tribe/Anonymous_Users.php line 24

We’ve turned off the Events Calendar Community plug-in for now, but wanted find out if there is a fix or reason it would be bugging out like this.

    Thanks!

    Hello David,

Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums!

I’m sorry about this issue with Community Events and thanks for reaching out! Let me try to help you with this.

In your system information I see that you have mismatching version numbers for our plugins. Please make sure that you update all of them to the latest versions and re-check if the issue still exists.

Let me know the result and we take it from there.

    Cheers,
    Andras

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
