KeymasterHello George,
Thanks for reaching out!
I’m sorry you are experiencing issues. Let me try to help you with this.
I checked your site – main page and calendar page – and both showed November for me straight away.
I see that you are using a caching plugin. It can be that a cached version of the page was served for you. Deactivate the caching plugin or exclude the pages you are having an issue with and check if that changes the behavior.
Let me know how this works out and we can dig further if needed.
Cheers,

KeymasterDave, thanks for sharing that with me.
That is a bit unusual.
When you have “use local timezones”, then the timings set at the events are being displayed in the front.
If it is set to “sitewide”, then the event time will be converted to the site timezone. (E.x. the event is set up as UTC+0 from 11 am, and site TZ is Los Angeles, then on the front it will show “from 2 am” as that is the difference in winter time.)
Would you be able to send me a full database export? I would like to fire it up and test it. (If you need help with the export, then this plugin should do it.) Probably the file will be too big to upload here, in this case you can share it through some cloud service and give me the link in a private reply.
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Sandra,
Sorry to hear that. That is definitely not normal. I’d be happy to help you troubleshoot and fix that.
In order for Event Tickets Plus to work you need at least the following plugins:
- Event Tickets
- Event Tickets Plus
- WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads to act as the eCommerce platform
- The Events Calendar is optional, (but I guess you are using it 🙂 ) You can create tickets for other post types. This needs some setup steps
To be able to better help you please share your system information with me in a private reply.
Looking forward to helping you fix this.
Cheers,
AndrasAndras
KeymasterThanks Michael,
I tested that and that might be causing the issue, or the setting itself.
Please give me some time to investigate the issue a bit deeper. This might be a new issue.
Thanks for your patience!

KeymasterHi JP,
Wow, sorry to hear that didn’t bring anything to the surface. This is unusual.
The next step would be deactivating and deleting The Events Calendar plugin and reinstalling it through Plugins > Add new. Might be something went wrong during installation or update.
Sorry this is taking some time to resolve.
Cheers,

KeymasterHello Emily,
Thanks for reaching out! Let me try to help you with this.
It looks like the mobile stylesheet is not being loaded on the page.
Are you using any caching plugins? If yes, please clear the cache and deactivate it and check if the dots reappear.
If that is not the case, please go through our conflict testing guide and see if that changes anything.
Let me know what you find.
If that also doesn’t help, please also share your system information with me. Thanks!

KeymasterHello Stephen,
I had discussions with some of our EA gurus. Unfortunately it is not possible to do with the current codebase.
If you would like to have a feature like this, e.x. being able to set up an ‘advanced schedule’ for when an import is run (5am on Monday, 2pm on Tuesday etc. ), then I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.
We cannot rely on a user coming in to trigger the wp-cron
Setting up a real cron can help with this. Your hosting provider should be able to give you info on or help with this, as this is outside WordPress.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further questions.

KeymasterHello Dave,
Thanks for reaching out and I’m sorry to hear about this issue. Let me try to help you with this.
The events where you have the issue (e.x. Philosophy 101: Discussion), what timezone are they set to? Do they also have Los Angeles? (screenshot)
What is your timezone setting under Events > Settings > General tab > Timezone mode (at the bottom). Is it ‘use local timezones for each event’?
Thanks,

KeymasterHello Sherrill,
Thanks for reporting back to us.
I absolutely understand your frustration about this issue. I also want to let you know that we are doing everything we can to help you resolve this. Sometimes resolving issues goes fast with the change of a setting, sometimes it takes longer, as we need to find the source – usually with the help of our users like yourself – of this issue, develop a fix, thoroughly test is (so we don’t introduce new bugs).
The Timezone Abbreviation issue has been resolved in the last maintenance release which shipped last week. Updating to the latest version will not change / update your current events automatically. This cannot be easily and safely executed within a plugin update.
To fix the timezone abbreviation of your current recurring events you will need to open the event for editing and make a small change in the basic event data (the easiest is changing the start or end time), update it, then change it back (if needed) and update again. This change is needed so that the data for the recurrences is regenerated.
And an important note, this will only be visible, if you have Events > Settings > General tab > Timezone mode set to ‘Use local timezones for each event’.
I hope this will help you get that fixed so your site can shine bright and with correct data to your visitors.
Please let me know if you need further assistance. I’m more than happy to help you.
Cheers,
AndrasAndras
KeymasterSure Brandon, I can totally understand if you don’t want to share the data. No worries.
Happy to hear there are even less duplicates. Let’s keep monitoring then. And you can get back to me any time if they come back.
I will leave the topic open so you can post a reply.
Please note though, if there is no interaction in the thread for 3 weeks, it will be closed automatically. If that should happen, then open a new thread and copy the url of this one in the post, and we can pick up where we left off.
Keeping my fingers crossed.
Cheers,

KeymasterHi Frankie,
I’m not sure who the best in this list is, but they are all very capable.
Is there anything else I can help you with before I close this?
