ParticipantHello – our Event Aggregator license expired and we lost our Facebook import so we went through a major upgrade of all the Event Calendar extensions so everything would be fresh again. Everything in the Licenses tab says it’s registered and expiring next November, but when I go to try and import our Facebook events all sources with exception of CSV are still grayed out as they were when the license stopped working. My understanding is having renewed our licenses those sources should be available again. Please help!

KeymasterHello Running Man, 🙂
Thanks for using our plugins and for reaching out! Let me try to help you with this one.
Indeed, when you enter the license keys, the green success message appears and then you hit the ‘save’ button, your license keys should be saved and the Event Aggregator import sources should be accessible.
Sometimes a little time needs to pass after entering the license key to make them available. We are looking into why this is happening.
I have tested your license key on my test site and it worked.
Please check if anything has changed since yesterday and let me know.
If you still have issues then try disconnecting your license key from the site and enter it again. This article has info on how you can disconnect your key.
Let me know what you find. We’ll get this sorted.
Cheers,

ParticipantHi,
Thanks for the reply!
Yes, I am able to select sources now. But, when I select a source nothing happens. For example, I select Facebook and under the New Import tab and then it just sits there. I imagine something is supposed to happen 🙂 It doesn’t matter what source I select. Same result.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

KeymasterYeah, something IS supposed to happen.
After you select the source, the “Import type” box should appear. Once you make a selection there you should get a chance to enter the “URL”, like on this screenshot.
Could you please go through our conflict testing guide and see if that brings any results?
Thanks,

ParticipantHi András,
No dice. Disabled all plugins with exception of Events Calendar related one and reverted back to Twenty Sixteen. Also tried two different browsers (Chrome vs. Edge).
I’ve also checked the inspectors for both browsers, no JS errors or anything of that nature. The web logs don’t show anything either.
Thanks,

KeymasterHi JP,
Wow, sorry to hear that didn’t bring anything to the surface. This is unusual.
The next step would be deactivating and deleting The Events Calendar plugin and reinstalling it through Plugins > Add new. Might be something went wrong during installation or update.
Sorry this is taking some time to resolve.
Cheers,

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
